« Had the worst experience I've had in a hotel. They claim to be family and pet friendly. Pets are only allowed on the second floor, which is under renovation. Noise levels and chemical fumes are intolerable. We were traveling with a child with disabilities, who cannot be exposed to chemical fumes. When asked to be moved to a different floor we were told they couldn't accommodate us because we had a pet. We were given the option to "check out." We checked out around 6pm. « The place is beautiful. Ambience was giving romantic renaissance! I was very pleased with the privacy, room decor, pool landscaping and furnishings. I didn’t however see a roach and a few other small bugs. Also the water mysteriously got turned off the last morning I was there and I couldn’t reach anyone about it. « The property is dated and not well maintained. As soon we walked in their was a musty/mildew smell. That smell followed throughout the entire hotel. Check-in was longer than expected, the front desk person was distracted and forgetful. The room was tidy but cleanliness was not great.
