Well appointed B&B in Hurley. We stayed in The Den. It’s spotlessly clean. King size bed is extremely confortable. There is a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, mini bar and snacks. Bathroom has a decent shower. I would have preferred larger and fluffier bath towels but that’s probably me being picky. We had continental breakfast with toasts, pastries, cereals, yogurt…everything is prepared by the lovely Emma. Nothing is too much trouble, she is a very positive and cheerful lady. Breakfast is around a large dining table with other guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again without a doubt.

A gem near Henley and Marlow

This gem of a B&B is in a tranquil and beautiful village with 2 pubs and a tiny shop. The joining instructions were clear and accurate. The signposting inside the property is a model of clarity. The compact bedroom was well appointed down to the torch for walks back from the pub. A delightful continental breakfast served when required, but you can help yourself and make tea and coffee at any time. The steep little staircase to the rooms could cause some people problems. Parking space at the rear have e-chargers. Really well thought through place.

Great stay in good location

The Crazy Fox is situated in an area with great walks and places to see. The building appears very compact from the outside but spreads over the adjoining village store. A great welcome from Bettina on arrival who is an asset for the business. Friendly, willing and helpful. Decoration is fresh and the b&b is spotlessly clean. We were disappointed when we were advised that a cooked breakfast was no longer served but the continental breakfast was varied and sustaining. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. We were fortunate to eat breakfast in the dining room as breakfast in bed is not for us and there was no table in the room to eat off. Room had plenty of storage for a short stay. Good super king sized bed but very firm. Good quadrant shower. Parking is behind the property. It would be very tight for 4 cars, one per room, but there is a free public car park just down the road towards the Lock. There is an honesty system for a comprehensive range of snacks, spirits plus some wines, beers and soft drinks.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location

We enjoyed our one night stay here after a wedding. Emma was very friendly and bought a delicious breakfast to us. Room had everything you could need, was very clean and cosy, but not too small. Only suggestion is to offer one flatter pillow.

Just stayed for the past three nights. The staff were very friendly, I had a 5hr drive and Emma called me on my way down to make sure I knew how to get into the building as there is a code lock on the door. They had sent me a couple of emails but turns out mine had gone into the junk so I didn't see them but it was easy enough to get in. In the morning Bettina delivered breakfast to the room which I did not expect when I booked and it was really filling, I am sure the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The room was clean, recently furnished and larger than I thought it would be, it also had free wifi which was good as the mobile signal is a bit hit and miss in the area. There was quite a selection of snacks and drinks in the room which you had to pay for including some in the mini fridge but there is a shop next door if you just want to buy your own. They provided a filled ice bucket every day and you could get extra from the freezer down stairs which was really helpful when the outside temp was 31°C every day I was there. Parking was great, they have designated spaces for free located behind the building.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We checked in at the Crazy Fox using the keyless system with no problems. We loved the room especially the huge bed. The room was modern, but cosy and very clean. There were some lovely little touches, including a torch if we wanted to go out in the evening. Due to covid-19 virus we were not able to have the usual breakfast but we were very pleasantly surprised with what was offered in its place. We were delivered a breakfast tray each morning, with a large range of items, and we were able to enjoy breakfast in bed, a real treat. The accommodation is close to the river Thames as well, for some lovely riverside walks.

Lovely B&B in an idyllic location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service. Room spotless. Wonderful pillows. A bit unconventional in terms of letting yourself in - but it works - and you can happily come and go as you please. For early risers, we would recommend a walk to the river before breakfast - water so beautifully calm and still and the riverside so serene.

Lovely place off the main road

Needed to be in Henley early and stayed here for the first time. Lovely location and ease of access when arriving late. The room was great, with a small seating area with coffee/tea etc a hall to the bedroom and bathroom. All very tidy and decorated nicely.

A gem of a place

Beautiful B&B in a quaint little village. Two pubs in walking distance and we ate at the Rising Sun. Food was good, pleasant staff. Warm welcome from staff at Crazy Fox and they were very accommodating in terms of our Check in and out times and my dietary requirements. Room was spotless, tasteful with fab shower and toiletries. Some nice little touches too. ( torch for returning home in the dark) nice tea tray. Very friendly staff....owner was warm and helpful.....thankyou too, to lovely Lauren who could not have been more helpful and sweet. Lovely breakfast in the morning....it's got 5 rac * and you can see why. Would highly recommend. Thankyou
