« The positive first: A very nice and helpful lady is the keeper of the place. Unfortunately the negative is heavy. Everything is very old, the room is small, the mattress is terrible, the tiny bathroom is smelly and a major noisy road passes 100 meters away. The breakfast is not on site but in a coffee shop on the other side of the busy road. I booked far ahead of our trip to Australia and paid 260 AUD per night, more than I paid in 4 star hotels in downtown Sydney or Melbourne. This is a...

« We are family with young kids and had a great stay at Palm Valley Motel. The room was newly renovated, clean, with nice hot shower and all amenities that we needed for our stay for a few days at an effortable price. We also liked the outdoor pool. It is at a quiet location, we couldn't hear anything from our neighbours so we could rest well. The location is close to Newcastle and not far from Port Stephens. Thank you! »

Well done! Office very easy to deal with. Shower screen door a tad small so for those of extra large build breath in and turn to your side. Not far off highway. Highly recommend. »
