Everything was good except the bed was uncomfortable. I have to move to the couch because I couldn’t sleep there. The two additional bed in the extra room are for little kids bed, like a five-year-old ! my two son couldn’t fit there, One of my son has to sleep on the floor, he is 14 years old. I will think they should mention that when they describe the rooms.

The "house" was a condo with extremely thin walls and ceilings so we were able to hear everything happening in the condo above us. The furniture was arranged in such a way that made it impossible to sit around and chat as a group or all watch TV. Sheets were incredibly cheap and the four of us got one towel each for a two night stay. Location was great with a running creek within a 2-3 minute walk.

We noticed a foul smell the entire trip, and on the last day, our dog found two decaying mice in the laundry room. He also kept barking in the kitchen area. Upon cleaning before leaving at 9:00 AM, I found mouse droppings on the kitchen stove, bottom drawer. I have pictures to share with you. The vacuum cleaner was also completely full and clogged when we needed to use it. We had to completely empty it and clean it ourselves. Attached is a photo of the stuff we emptied from the vacuum.Otherwise, our stay was fairly enjoyable.

Do NOT trust the photos

We really wanted to like this place and to leave a good review. But the only pros were the layout and location — we would rent again in the same complex. These photos are highly filtered and the listing is inaccurate — there is NOT a TV in the second bedroom. We’ve been traveling to Mammoth for 20 years, and we’ve stayed all over, as newlyweds and now as parents to two young kids. We have stayed in the village the last five years, but this year needed a dog-friendly rental. We have never had to leave a bad review.We called right away to address a broken fridge and the missing tv — I was told the local team would reach out and they never did.Cons:-No tv in 2nd room -Broken shelves in fridge-Dishes and silverware were dirty -We found a half eaten kid’s yogurt pouch and food behind pillows in the couch-The power in laundry room went out and the fuse box is in the locked owners closet, so we couldn’t do any laundry on our last night.It has such potential. But we’ve stayed in much nicer places for the same price or less. There is definitely noise from the upstairs unit, but I’m sure that’s with any first floor rental. The complex itself is nice and clean, very convenient location. We have used Vacasa before and had a much better experience. We were hoping to find our new annual rental — this will not be it.

Nice location, nice condo on the first floor

The walk to the red line is maybe .2 to .3 miles. We drive up, so i am not positive about the true distance.The condo is one the frist floor. You can hear anyone above you if you have good heating (i wear hearing aids, so i done).The entrane offers a place to chane into your slippers. Please do so to keep it clear.Only 2 minor issues. The wifi extension to the desk in the master bedroom can be weak. You need to work out the electricity. The extention cords should offer you enoughr plugs for your needs enjoy the place.

Great location, clean property, horrible management.

The location was excellent. The condo was a bit outdated, but comfortable and clean. The large coffee pot was broken. There was a small back up coffee pot in one of the cabinets that we were able to use, but for a group of 5 this resulted in having to make 3 batches for everyone to get one cup (not really convenient when you're trying to get to the mountain). Not enough pillows, most beds only had shams (not actual sleeping pillows). Bare minimum on towels, as well. Highly recommend bringing your own. There was also an incident on our final night when a plug-in gas detector in the unit went off saying a gas leak had been detected. We called Vacasa, who were extremely unhelpful. After saying that this gas detector is sometimes faulty and we should just unplug/ignore it until they could send someone out in the morning to check, we decided we should be safe and call the fire department to come and check (gas leaks are no light matter!). The first responder intimated that this happens often at this location apparently. The entire situation was very alarming and upsetting.

Fine Condo for those traveling with dogs.

I didn't have super high expectations since I chose a "dog friendly" condo. But we ended up leaving the pooch behind, so I was disappointed I didn't select something else. The condo itself was fine. It was clean, but there is a strong odor of "febreeze" or some other substance that hides odors. Everything we brought to condo had to be washed on our return, as it had the smell in it. The condo appeared very clean when we arrived. However, the following morning I poured myself a cup of coffee only to discover that the mug was not clean...we discovered additional dishes in upper cabinets that were dirty. The bed was marginal. Bring your own blankets/pillows. The couches/chairs are old and you sink a bit too far. Carpet is old..but if the owners allow a dog I can see why they do not want to replace carpets. The nice thing about this condo, is that you can put up a gate and keep your dog in the kitchen area if you go to dinner etc. Would be nice for owners to provide that...The complex itself seems nice, but there was so much snow it was hard to look around. :) We had someone staying above us and there was a noise issue with that. Finally, the fireplace did not work. I reached out to VACASA and they sent someone right away. He could not fix it and suggested that it be cleaned. We didn't want someone coming in and out of the condo while we were on the mountain so we just went without. It needs to be repaired.

Great condo!

Condo was perfect for my partner, her two girls and my dog. Complex is in a great location! The snow removal crew was like a small army & worked nonstop from about 5am to 5pm to keep the walk ways and all the road ways within the complex clear. That was not a simple task considering the amount of snow that feel the entire day!

Great space and location

My family and I stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the laundry great to help wash/dry clothing and overall layout very spacious for all of us. The location is quiet, yet easy to drive or catch the shuttle to anywhere you need/want to be. Great place and great stay!

Perfect Base for Snow Play and Snow Boarding

This was a great home base for going out and playing in the snow and going to Canyon Lodge for snow boarding and skiing. The condo has plenty of room for everyone to have a spot to lounge - we loved the cozy fireplace! We cooked several of our meals here and we're able to find everything we needed to do that. We liked that this location was a little bit away from the slopes and all the traffic and parking craziness that can be there. It felt like we could have fun being out and about with the crowds, and then come back to a quiet spot to relax. All the beds were comfortable and we found that even the pullout bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We're already thinking about coming back to this rental for the spring or summer!
