„This was our third trip to the same cottage and it was another fantastic holiday! The rooms are immaculate with plenty of space for our group (4 adults, 4 children). The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, crockery, cooking utensils as well as fresh bread and cake! We always feel well looked after and Pip is a fab host with a personal touch. Thank you!“

„Het verblijf was prima. Er was alleen aangegeven via FEWO dat alles begane grond was, dit bleek niet het geval. Voor mensen met een beperking dus erg lastig. Parkeerplaats aanwezig maar zeer lastig in en uitrijden. Het café de Red Lion is een aanrader. Goed eten en een lekker biertje/wijntje tegen redelijke prijzen.“

„Just had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Nigel and family were so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, but also enjoyed the owls hooting and cows mooing. It was perfect. We visited the brewery in the village and really enjoyed it. Lots of places to visit including Bakewell, Matlock, Buxton, Stepping Stones at River Dove. “

„The cottage is small, but perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is a great starting point for various trips to the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone! Just one thing: the last few yards to the cottage are on a rather steep hill (hence "Hillside") and it can be a bit tricky to park your car there. You'll need to ascend the last few yards up to the cottage, but if you're reasonably fit, it shouldn't be a problem.“
