Still waiting on a call from Vacasa
Dishes and kitchen walls were dirty. The place needs a deep clean. That was not great, but we were willing to just ignore it. Then my wife went to bed and felt sand in the sheets at the bottom of the bed. This means someone with sandy feet was in the bed and the sheets were not washed. They just remade the bed. I tried contacting the host but no one got back to me. Apparently Vacasa is a national vacation rental company, with their own app and everything, so it’s just another layer of bureaucracy in VRBO. I got messages back from some tier 1 support people and waited on hold 20 minutes to talk to another support person. They all told me they couldn’t do anything, but they would request for the local manager to call me. No one ever called. I had several more issues including the WiFi going out. I reported all of these over the course of my 4 day stay. Still no help. I also asked for a discount because of these problems, but again I was told I would have to wait for a call from the local manager. I’m going to contact VRBO support now. Wish me luck.
