I travelled internationally on an 12 hour trip to find that this host sold my paid lodging to another guest and I was stranded at the airport with no lodging for better than 6 hours. The VRBO team contacted the host and host admitted to charging my credit card cost and not having the lodging I paid for because they sold it to another customer. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. I saw from last year other guests suggested a few things that would make a guest’s stay much more enjoyable but those things one year later has not been done. We stayed for carnival and the distance to events held in the Savannah was amazing.
