Family Mini Season Trip
The property was great for our first stay in Marathon and first mini season in the books. Easy access to the Atlantic. We enjoyed using the fridge and freezer for our fish and lobster. We wish the ice machine worked, that would have been even better. The pool is very small, but we expected that so if you’re looking for a big pool to jump in and hang in as a family, it’s more for a quick cool off after a long day of fishing on the water. The house was great for two families. There were seven of us, three were kiddos and it didn’t feel overcrowded. We wish there were a few more rugs as the tile can be very slippery after a trip to the ocean or pool. Our kids fell a few times because of it. The bigger beds (not the bunk beds) make noise every time you moved and weren’t the most comfortable. For our meals some of the knives were dull or broken and we were unable to locate any grilling utensils but made it work otherwise! The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had. We had a great stay and hope to be back soon!
