« Propre mais il ne faut pas regarder sous les lits. Vaisselles faites à la main. Petit déjeuner : pain et croissants industriels..., céréales froides, oeufs brouillés, jambon, fruits, fromage mais seulement du café en poudre à diluer. Dame qui gère petit déjeuner qui souffle sans cesse avant d'aller nettoyer les chambres dès 9H15. Dans un quartier populaire, à 2 minutes à pieds du métro puis 40 minutes jusqu'au centre de Londre. Les avions ne gênent pas. »

« Une nuitée dans un pub/resto/hôtel typique au sein d'un petit village dans la campagne de Hertfordshire sur la A41 Personnel très accueillant, souriant et serviable. La chambre = tout à fait correcte. Lits confortables, plateau bouilloire: café, thé et biscuits - appréciable car le pub ne propose pas de petit déjeuner. Dîner le soir au pub - un fish and chips délicieux très (trop!) bien servi = plus de place pour le dessert (sticky toffee pudding... dommage!). Wifi que dans le pub même, pas...

« Everything about our trip was lovely. Except the room we were given. Our room 17 located at the back of the building above the kitchen. The noise of the air con units from the kitchen started work about 4am. There was no air con in the room and it was extremely warm in there. We couldn’t open the windows because of the noise. Phylis Court is a lovely place to stay if you don’t have this type of room. The service is above and beyond the location is delightful and so near the town »

« This house is very convenient to the airport. The check in by code and room lock by code works well. But you get what you pay for, my room had a bed and old deck nothing more. But having access to a kitchen is nice and there is a store on the same block. When I was there washer/dryer and dishwasher were both out of order. Easy to get to by cab or Uber. If you just need a place to sleep for the night it’s fine. I would not recommend for long term stay. »

« The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

« One night stay at the property before our flight from Heathrow Airport, lovely place and facilities for what our family of 4 needed. Food at the restaurant was outstanding especially the Sunday roast definitely recommend the property and restaurant and would use the property in the future as Heathrow Airport was close by and easy to access. »

« We felt that the room was not cleaned properly, we found hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom, more attention needed, the room was light and airy, basic provisions of fridge, shared bathroom although we didn’t see any other guests when we stayed. »
