âLa Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend ...

âThe welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended.â

Not only for breakfast, also for dinner you can enjoy a buffet (for dinner you have to pay) ... the choise of served food is great and very delicious. One day we did a safari - so we got a lunch packet instead of breakfast. That was perfekt. We also really enjoyed the pool. All in all, we felt very comfortable.â

"We spend two days in the resort. The arrival was easy and we received a heartfelt greeting. The room was very clean and we had a wonderfull view in the surrouning nature. The pool was as well Good organized and clean with a beautiful view.
The breakfast and Dinner was amazing. You can chose between different meals which were prepared with local fruits vegetables and meat or fish. We like it that they Support the local Provider. This Supports the private Business and secure freshly cooked meals.
The employee were really friendly and answered every question.
A Special thanks to the guy called Lahiru he was in charge of us every time and we had some nice conversation with him. He explained us very much about the Sri Lanka Culture and history. This was very interesting.
