This was a mix of good and bad. I frequently visit quarterly and this is the first time I stayed at this hotel. Staff were friendly. They had no free coffee available at any time which I found odd since not sure if I have found a hotel that didn't offer this. I did park in the adjacent ramp for 2 ...

The building is old but the rooms are comfortable, clean and functional. Beds and heating/cooling system is very good. Breakfast very good with many hot and cold options. The convenience to the Mayo Clinic cannot be overstated! It is the best. We have stayed here several times.

room was very clean, bedding very comfy, slept well, it was quiet and relaxing. Adjoining restaurant had delicious food and great service. Complimentary breakfast was a basic, adequate menu, and each selection was done very well, way above the quality of other hotel/motels.
