Fantastic location, on the lake close to the downtown! Can walk to just about anything you would need. Our family totally enjoyed our stay at this condo. A perfect set up for a great vacation. Only thing that we missed was a washer and dryer.

Great time up in McCall at this Condo

Condo was clean and had a great location close to the downtown and albertsons which was extremely convenient. There is two queen beds, two bunk beds, and a pull out couch which you are able to sleep in. Listing was a little confusing on how many people could stay there.

Great ski weekend stay

We had a great ski stay in McCall! This property is perfectly located right next to downtown and has an amazing view of the lake and mountains. Brundage and Little Ski Hill are just a short drive away. The condo is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Definite recommend!

Great spot but cold inside!

It was cold. Granted, we went in winter, but the house barely got above 60 in the main living area, despite the heat being set at 80. My infant daughter’s room registered 57 one night. Bring warm clothes! The baseboard radiators did not heat the place but burned my 10 yr olds hand when he touched one. They have a smart TV too, which was nice. But other users were signed in, so don’t forget to sign out. Great location, but not young kid friendly with open baseboard heating elements and steep stairs, but I would stay here again, but in the summer! Kitchen was well equipped and the board games were fun to play.

Good location but needs attention

Good location. However, we lost close to 5 hours of our vacation dealing with issues. First, we could not access the unit using provide code to access key box. Attempted contact with Vacasa, the property mgmt. company, by phone (on hold for 1.5 hours), tried “chat” with no response. Three hours later VRBO assisted in getting us accurate codes but our request for hours added to our check-out time were never addressed. The door on one bedroom torn off hinges and fell on one of us so we had to wait for maintenance who also had to get us proper WiFi info, and day 2 we had to fix the lever on the master bath toilet. Other issues noteworthy: smoke detector at entry dismantled, no screens, window sills filthy, stairs to upper bedrooms extremely steep (10”+ rise, 7” is standard) with no handrail at top section, openings in upper bedrooms overlooking living area below have a sill height that does not meet code (very dangerous especially if kids sleeping on provide bunk beds and single beds upstairs). Also interesting to note that there is a Vacasa office about 4 blocks from the rental but always closed. We checked 4 times. We enjoyed each other’s company but with so many issues we will avoid any property managed by Vacasa.

Communication w/Property Manager

Instructions to check in with property manager...no luck...called number no response...never saw anyone on site. No trouble with key and stayed our entire reservation. Location SUPERB.Only thing missing...kitchen hand towels and dish rags... Have used VRBO for many years..this first unusual experience with property manager. Also no instructions on sheet regarding how to o leave dirty sheets and towels and trash...so assumed since nothing on instruction sheet were not to do...very unusual for VRBO property.

Convenient and Comfortable

We had a fun packed 2 nights/3 days in McCall and this condo provided a restful reprieve from exploring. The beds were comfortable, linens lush and in good supply. The kitchen had a nice and varied supply of dishes and cookware organized very functionally. The view of the lake was unbeatable with a beach area below. The furniture offered alot of comfortable seating.

Perfect location and incredible view!

Loved this spot. Lots of comfy beds, clean, loved the games during down time, beach access, pool access, amazing views and balcony. Only wish they had a washer and dryer.

Great escape

We found everything in order and pretty clean. There was a good assortment of puzzles and games and after I figured out that the batteries on the TV remote were dead and bought some fresh ones the entertainment was good too. I dropped a dead battery and it ran under the couch. I moved the couch to get at it and found a ton of dirt, lint, a drink coaster etc. Otherwise all went well and I suspect we’ll look forward to booking again sometime.

Loved the lake view (even though it was covered in ice and snow). Proximity to town was great.

Mostly good. Although we would have liked to have known that no parking tag was needed during winter and that there was no registration process as stated. I spent at least a half hour trying to get through to property manager with no response. And the owners need to fix the upstairs outside window because it was broken and wide open. So the room was unusable as it was ice cold in there. We shut the door and stuck a pillow at the bottom of the door. I have seen this complaint on their website home review, so amazed that it has not been fixed.

We really enjoyed our stay, came during the off-season so it was pretty much just us in the condo complex. The front door is kinda dark and one of the windows was stuck open but we got the window closed OK.

Lovely lakeside location

The location was wonderful, and the condo was comfortable except the baseboard heat was not working very well. It took a couple of days to get it addressed, and we were not sure if it was fixed. Also, there was not an adequate handrail up the stairs to the loft bedrooms. We had people over 70 in our party so that was an issue. The light outside the door was out so coming in after dark was harder. Overall, however, it was a nice place to stay. I have never had to pay two management fees before so this surprised us too and made the location a bit more expensive.

Limited supply for 6 people

We stayed for a week but were only supplied 2 garbage bags and 2 dishwasher pods for 6 people for a week. The upstairs windows were nailed shut, thus making the upstairs very hot with poor ventilation. Strongly suggest replacing two of the upstairs twin beds with a queen. Ice maker did not function. Other than these items all was good and as advetised.

Thermostats didn’t work. Couldn’t use two bedrooms

Thermostats didn’t work on the first day. Technician took couple of hours to figure out how to stop constantly running heater. Finally he switched off at the main box for which guests don’t have access to. It was like in the oven. The next day it was cold and we needed heaters. Again we had to switch on at the main box. We lost valuable time of our bot rental when technician is in at the home figuring out how to switch off water heater.

Wonderful stay in McCall!

The condo is perfectly located close to downtown McCall. The unit has a wondering balcony that overlooks the lake. Nothing was better than waking up and looking out at the lake. Had a hard time finding where the parking passes were located, but that was my only complaint. Overall, I would recommend this condo to anyone
