We rented in March. A cold front came through the few days we were there, so it was much colder than expected!
The house, property, location and surrounding locations are very nice!
The rooms are nice sized, plenty of room for both fun and relaxing. There are a couple extra rooms in the house that are a little strange, but nothing that affected our stay.
The pool was nice, although it was still too cold outside for us to use. Bummer!
We caught a few fish in the pond and river, so there are definitely fish. If it were nicer, we would have spent even more time doing that and enjoying the hammocks.
There was even an ugly-ish little gray and white duck that hung around closely for us to feed, even following us up to the house. Cute!
We have a few suggestions of some minimal things that should be in the house to make it more inviting:
(1) Minimal cleaning supplies, such as Windex and Fantastic (there was nothing except dish soap)(there were dish tabs and laundry tabs, although we brought our own)
(2) Broom and dust pan
(3) More basic kitchen supplies (there was no cookie sheet, spatula, grill tools)
(4) Extra blankets
(5) Pool towels (or just extra regular towels for the pool)
(6) Ability to watch even local channels on the TV (had to sign in to our own streaming services)
We enjoyed our stay very much! The things mentioned above would have impacted us much more if we would have been there for the full week and had a full house of people.
We may be looking to come back to Georgia in the next year or two in June. We will definitely consider staying there again if we can confirm some of these things have been taken into consideration to make it more homey. We would love to stay there in the warm weather with all the trees and flowers in bloom and enjoy the pool and the pond/river!
