« Quiet spot near the end of the paved road. Perfect for sitting outside and watching the loons that stayed on this end of the lake. Owner verified that we checked in okay and was eager to give us fishing tips. »

« Nice home - well equipped kitchen and nice to have beach towels included. Private outdoor yard and deck. The kiddos had fun catching fish from the dock and we enjoyed use of the canoe and kayaks. Unfortunately the lake was very high and churned up so swimming off the dock was not desirable. There is a state park close by (1.5 mi) that had a nice beach space. Two things to note. Indoor eating and gathering spaces are tight for large groups. Also the stairs to the loft are open which was scary...

« We caught more fish in the 4 days we were here than we have the 10yrs being together! 2 10lb northerns and about 30 bass between sizes a pound to 5 pounds. Pat is Amazing! He let us use the pontoon for 4 days for a little amount of money because it was out anniversary. The food here great and the people are super friendly! Couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation »

« We had a great long weekend in July 2025.PROS - Kitchen is great. Air conditioning is strong in the main room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sleeping room. Main level master is plenty spacious. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen bunks - queen top and bottom. Bathrooms had body wash and shampoo. Plenty of towels were available. Indoor rocking chairs were comfy, along with the sectional. « What an awesome cabin on lake Osakis! We had a group of 6 friends and had a great time. The cabin is clean and has plenty of room for everyone. Kids will LOVE staying here, there is a fun loft and they can fish right off the dock. There’s room to tie up your boat on the dock as well. The owner was very responsive and helpful with my questions. I highly recommend! »

« Beautiful experience all the way around! Clean, quaint and well equipped cabin offering the comforts of home with a great view of Horseshoe Lake. Enjoyed our days playing on the water and nights around the bonfire star gazing. Great location to escape with nearby Richmond and Cold Spring for groceries or places to dine. Great communication with host family. 5 star gem! »
