We recently stayed at this property in Mexico City and unfortunately had several significant issues that made our stay uncomfortable and unsafe.Water Leaks & Safety ConcernsThe most concerning issue was a hole in the kitchen roof that allowed rainwater to pour directly inside. Water ran down walls and near electrical outlets, creating a safety hazard. As it rained frequently during our stay, this wasn’t a one-time problem—the apartment repeatedly became damp and developed a noticeable mildew odor.Bathroom ProblemsBoth bathrooms had serious maintenance issues. The water temperature handles were broken, making it difficult to adjust hot and cold water properly. The hallway bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, which made it unpleasant to use.Lighting & FurnitureThe hallway bedroom lightbulb was burned out, leaving that room poorly lit. The sofa was not functional, as it constantly split apart instead of staying together, so it couldn’t be used comfortably.Kitchen LimitationsThe kitchen was under-equipped. For a property that accommodates multiple guests, there were only four forks provided, along with very limited utensils. The stovetop was half-broken—only two burners worked, and both were the back burners, making cooking awkward and frustrating.Overall ExperienceWhile the location of the property was convenient, the ongoing leaks, broken fixtures, inadequate kitchen setup, and lack of maintenance made the stay disappointing.
