Hotel Middletown

« We booked a room with king size bed but got a room with two queen beds. Room was clean but disappointed we did not have king bed. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, several choices. »

« We stayed here overnight for 4th weekend. The property was very clean, staff was kind and welcoming. We have a dog and there are two places for restroom with doggie bags and a trash can! They even give you a door tag to let the cleaners know you have a dog. We also got welcome and departure water bottles, which was amazing after and before a day of travel. « Room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared on the spot. The staff was gracious and friendly. Bent over backwards for us. A step into the past. »

« What a beautiful, interesting house. Staff was great. The pool was not available. The shower heated to very hot and then wouldn't allow cold water....too hot to use. The window AC was very noisy and made sleeping difficult. What a fascinating/charming place to stay. »

« We stayed at Cobblestone Inn at the recommendation of Harvestville Farm (we were attending a farm to table event). A no-frills type of hotel, it provided us exactly what we needed: a convenient, comfy and extremely clean place to stay. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely stay again the next time we attend another event at the Farm. »

« There was black mold in the ac unit, not much variety outside of waffles for breakfast, lots of people smoking marijuana in the hotel, strong smell of marijuana in the hallway. Not a good environment and will not be recommending to others and will not be returning. Would like a refund. »

« The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again! »

« Overall the experience was good. My only issues were that my window ended up facing another building. I didn't mind it too much so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a heads up for others that it may be a possibility. The other issue was that the exhaust in the bathroom runs non-stop. There is no switch to turn it off. It is not connected to the light switch. I only had contact with the staff 2 times. Once at check in, which they were very friendly. The 2nd I had to call to the front desk because...

« The staff members that we did interact with were phenomenal! Very friendly, very helpful. I loved that they offered different breakfast options every morning as well. The room we stayed in appeared to have been very quickly cleaned up, very recently. There was toilet paper still in the peephole from the previous guest, and just didn’t feel CLEAN clean.
