« We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The pictures really don’t do this cabin justice. We felt at home immediately and were grateful for all the amenities that the home offered. Mary, our host, reached out via email regularly to check in and make sure we were enjoying our stay. We loved being able to sit on the porch and listen to the creek while drinking coffee, walk across to the water to fish or to just lay in the sun. Our dog, River, loved swimming in the creek too....

« The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you! »

« Our high school friends gathering comes here twice a year, and it's always a great time. The seclusion and privacy of the property is amazing, and being able to ride atv on the trails and shoot some guns because it's such a large plot of land the cabin sits on makes it a great guys trip destination. »

House is a little off the beaten path, so you would want to take an SUV to get there, but it’s not so far off the beaten path that you can’t get to restaurants or activities, or that there’s no cell service. « The highway can be heard from the south side and First Quality Paper factory can be heard from the North. Eventually, the sounds blend into the background but, some users may find this jarring upon arrival. Also, the "air conditions" are evaporative (really just humidifiers) and don't really provide any cooling. »

« This place is great! Easy check in and check out process. Fish rising to bugs right in the yard. I literally pulled in and within a couple of minutes I was hooked up on a fish. And while nothing is very close out that way, the house is close enough to some good eating and more importantly great fishing. It was the perfect setup for a small group of anglers that spend a few days fishing the central pa region. »
