« Would absolutely recommend! Only issue was power going out when a/c, fan n coffe maker were on. But a minor issue easily remedied .Would maybe enjoy a toaster. Toaster oven was ok for toast.Just a super getaway for all 9 of n us! »

« Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. »

« We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

« This great property was just what we needed for some R and R. It was well stocked with extras in case you forgot any necessities. Communication with the owner was frequent and easy. The view off the back deck was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. »

« We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and just two blocks from the main downtown area, this cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival. No issues. Definitely would stay here again! »

« Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...
