It’s so quiet out there with zero light pollution and the stars are perfect for viewing. In the mornings I saw deer, turkey/ baby turkey and going down the road a bit we saw a little black bear. I will for sure be back at this property for another weekend stay!“

„This was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway for my husband and me. The location was great for what we had planned—hiking in Ohiopyle and checking out Fort Necessity and Fallingwater. We have driven past this area numerous times while taking our daughter to college, but we had never taken the time to do any exploring until now! The hot tub was amazing, especially after hiking on Saturday. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We would absolutely consider staying here again!“

„We wanted a quiet weekend away and didn't want that hotel experience. That is exactly what we got. Beautiful property and a lot of things to do for all ages. The cabin was exactly as described and clean. Our view of the river was a plus and the area where we were was quiet. We built a fire to sit by in the evening and cooked outside for supper. We will definitely be back and may make this our go to when we visit the granddaughter and our kids.“

The hosts communicated with us about checking in and about directions to find the treehouse. They responded promptly to all of our text. They were even kind enough to have s'mores set out for us as well as some samples of local beers . The place is decorated with bears and gnomes everywhere- super cute. „We stayed at the Hobbit House for my daughter’s wedding this weekend (June20, 2026), with 6 grandchildren. They absolutely loved staying here, even my husband was thrilled with this place. It was a fun stay for them, and they made s’mores on their last night out at the fire pit. The hot tub was also a big hit. Very responsive owners and easy check-in and check-out.“
