Auberges à Millom

« We stayed for 2 nights in a very small double standard room. No storage space,just a bar about a metre long to hang a couple of items on and small bedside drawers .There was a complimentary breakfast provided and tea making facilities but only a tiny stool so breakfast had to be eaten sitting on the bed. All that being said the room was clean and the bed . In the shower room there is a small towel rail but only big enough for hand towels,we had to drape the wet bath towels over the shower door....

« Hôtel parait simple mais s'est révélé tout à fait confortable. Il offre grand parking. Nous avons disposé de 2 chambres très spacieuses et bien équipées. Le personnel s'est montré très aimable. Le restaurant propose un grand choix de plats qui a permis à chacun de trouver son bonheur. Situation en dehors des zones touristiques. Idéal pour randonneurs. »

« All the staff we met were great, cheerfull helpfull and polite. The room was clean and comfortable and what one expects in a very old building. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons the shower only worked on the large head and the food choices were very limited both in the restaurant and at breakfast. No salads and limited vegetables in restaurant.No fruit or cereal at breakfast. The hotel is remote which is part of it's appeal for us so going out in the evening is not an option,I would have struggled...

« Great location close to the waterfront. Lots of charm and cozy factor, and helpful staff. Our room was clean, but showing a bit of wear and tear. Reception is in the restaurant, and you may have to wait for restaurant guests to check in. Parking can be difficult at peak times. »

« Great location, lovely rooms in a great pu serving excellent food. 9.5 out of 10, only not a 10 because last orders at the bar were 10:15pm Will definitely stay again. »

« The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

« Charmant petit hôtel de passage, les chambres sont assez confortables. Petit point à revoir sur la literie et la propreté de la salle de bain. Nous y avons dîné 2 fois et la nourriture était bonne. Bon rapport qualité / prix! »
