We contemplated leaving but it was late so we did contact the host as VRBO suggested and she did come right away. She "re- made" the beds with new, clean sheets , replaced the maloderous towels with fresh towels, she addressed a couple of areas needing the most attention and we did stay. « Nice property, quiet lake. Check in was an hour late as the cleaners were still on site. A little annoying after a 4.5 hour drive. So we waited outside, but then they came to mow the lawn so it was awkward and we had no where to go. Also the fridge is broken but there is a second one in the basement which was better than nothing but inconvenient when cooking 3 meals a day for 8 people. We followed the instructions for how to add food to the upstairs fridge and keep it cool- but did not work....
