Great location; could be better maintained
We had numerous problems with this rental and is not like anything we have experienced in the past. The unit struggles to cool down without freezing out the upstairs. The pull out bed in the den is bent up badly and is inoperable...the sheets were nasty dirty and looked like blood stained. The upstairs pullout only had one foam pad and was unusable...ditto on the sheet cleanliness. Fortunately the maintenance man brought us an air up mattress to use. Sinks don't drain properly; dishwasher missing a piece on the top rack. Then the dryer went out and we were unable to dry... not enough wash cloths and hand towels. There is a steady stench when entering through the gate perhaps a dead animal in the ac unit or in the bushes behind it. Add’l info: Upstairs queen bed and twin bed closest to the window very uncomfortable. I have had this type of rental property in the past. However, I kept my property in top notch shape...always. Inspect everything between rentals including the sofa beds, appliances, etc. And you MUST clean out the dryer vent at least yearly if not more often. High risk of fire!! All this advice for free AND you have a list to work from.At this rental price point we expected it to be first class.
