Lovely Place and View

The size and arrangement of the place was perfect for our group of adults - plenty of beds, 3 bathrooms and gathering spaces. The view of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach were magnificent.

12th Floor Balcony View, plus Beach Front convenience

Our family has stayed in Destin/Miramar around 10 times over the years. We have stayed in beach front homes with private beaches and multi-room condos with public beaches, and places in between. Majestic Sun penthouse was very nice. Positives include: 1) incredible view (bring binoculars); 2) great internet; 3) great A/C; 4) Trash Chute steps away; 5) 1 free beach service and 1/2 price for additional setups; 6) nice workout facility; 7) close parking; 8) nice pool; 9) close to grocery store; 10) spacious master suite and master bath; 11) adequate kitchen and dining area; 12) beach is short walk across street after getting off of elevator; 13) washer/dryer worked well I would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding view.... but filthy and not equipped for a family of 10.

Stayed here with my family of 10 -- 5 adults, 5 children ages 3-6. Pros: - The ocean view is absolutely stunning. As good as it gets at Miramar. - The convenient location is great. Close to grocery, pharmacy and outlet stores. - Plenty of parking available. We had 3 vehicles. - Loved the bunkbeds... but not a good setup... see "cons" below. Cons: - This place was filthy and needs a thorough cleaning. The tubs looked like they have not been cleaned in a year (black... filthy). - Roaches are present. - The kitchen is not equipped to cook for a family of 10. I had to buy a large skillet. You have a choice of a 2 qt pot or a 3 gallon pot to use. - The dryer takes at least 3 cycles to dry clothes/towels. Needs a good cleaning. - The towels.... oh my gosh..... dingy and pathetically small. Only 2 towels and 2 washcloths for the 3 bedrooms ..... nothing for the 4 bunkbeds. So basically, 6 towels and 6 washcloths for accommodations of 10 people. Nope. - Vacuum did not work... yes... wherever we stay, we keep it clean. - There is no good place to keep your beach stuff. You cannot leave anything outside on the balcony. - The "round" dining table is simply in the way.... you have to constantly walk around it. - Bunkbed room has no door into hall. If you are an early riser.... or stay up late.... you had to be mindful of sleeping children in a room with no door... and sound echoes (tile flooring)/

Property needs upgrades

So the views are stunning from this property. The downside is the property needs some up grades. Master shower handle falls off. Pans are old and not level. No measuring spoons. Don’t pull out the bed in couch it is stained and nasty and also broken. We walked in on staff trying to cover it with mattress cover and then had to put it back in ourselves because she left. Seat cushions at table are stained and need replaced. Trim around entry door glass was broken Upside was I didn’t go out of my way to keep place spotless because it wasn’t spotless for my stay. I overlooked last reviews because I wanted the view but something to consider before you book.

Family vacation at unit 1205 Seascape

We really liked the size of the unit. Highly recommend bringing extra paper towels & dish soap as non were provided. Sofa bed mattress desperately needs replacing- huge stain on it that was extremely gross!

Amazing condo and location but missing just a few tiny things...

Beautiful condo, hands down. Location was second to none, we spent a lot of time in the condo due to weather but the pool was really nice and kept the kids entertained despite mother nature. I would stay here again for sure, especially knowing now how to be more prepared for this particular unit. Pros: - The condo was beautiful in every way - Location. Tiny walk directly across the street from the beach. Couple hundred yards from the Whales Tale restaurant. Not a great meal but great view and we ate there the first night from traveling due to convenience. - Space and deck area - We spent a good amount of time on the large deck overlooking the Gulf just talking and listening to the waves...great space! Few things missing though that would have made the first day or so easier: - Two rolls of toilet paper provided. The check out paper in the unit said the the product provided was minimal but would have been nice to know this ahead of time to come more prepared with some small things. - Off season beach chairs were not provided, completely understandable but an updated listing would have been nice since we didn't bring them in the car as a result of the listing verbiage - One roll of paper towel and only a single dish rag and no sponges to be found...and no cleaning supplies at all. Again, not a huge deal as we had to shop anyway but I would recommend adding this to the listing. - Master bedroom mattress was pretty awful to be honest. I understand this is a preference thing but an old spring mattress was pretty stiff and outdated. Just be prepared if you're spoiled with a really good mattress. First world problems...

beautiful and dirty condo

the condo and resort was very nice. the resort was clean, however, the cleanliness of the condo itself left much to be desired. all the windows and mirrors were very dirty, and not with just handprints. there was a ot of dust on all the furniture. the floors were not swept completely (dirt around the edges of the room) and needed to be mopped badly. the outside of the appliances had not been wiped and there were fingerprints and dried food / dirt on the handles. its a shame that such a beautiful condo was so dirty. I had read in the reviews before booking, a similar comment and had hoped that the problem had been corrected - no such luck.

Great trip

Place was lovely - view spectacular. Could have been a little cleaner. For instance trash canister had spills on it. Corners not that clean bit we all left happy!!

Fall Break 2019

This condo has so much potential!! It is a very nice unit with stunning views! My only complaint is the cleanliness. When we checked in, one of the rooms had been shampooed and we were instructed to leave the fan blowing for a few days to allow the carpet to dry...what we didn’t expect was the carpet in the doorway being pulled up from the floor and the fan blowing under the carpet. This was somewhat of a hazard and an inconvenience. The coffee maker was very dirty and didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned. The bathroom sinks and tubs didn’t appear to be clean either, maybe just “wiped” down. As a renter, I’m charged a cleaning fee, and that is fine, please just make sure the cleaning service is doing what they are supposed to do. I would stay here again, but I would ensure the cleanliness of the room before 5:00 when everyone leaves and phones go unanswered.
