It was very spacious and everyone had plenty of room. The location was great and a nice short walk to the beach. The only downfall was there was supposed to be a heated pool in the community and there was not.

Great location for the price, and very clean

Location was great, close to the beach and stores. Very clean and check in/out was very simple. Pool was enjoyable and stay was very pleasant. Plenty of room for 16 guests. One thing to know is the guest bedroom in the guest house is upstairs.

July 2025 week long stay, overall good experience.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. It's an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, stores, etc. House is spacious and comfortable. We had 4 teenagers and 4 adults. There was a tropical storm, so we spent more time than normal in the house and we were all very comfortable.Very important to read all the info they send, so you're aware of what you need to bring and\or prepare for. We were notified before arriving that the guest house dishwasher was unavailable. A few hours before checking in we were alerted the main house AC unit went out and would be replaced the next day, to which they offered to reimburse us half of our first night. The AC guys were great, though they were there half a day with us in the house. Normally wouldn't be an issue, but the weather was iffy for beach time our first few days. The next day, clothes got locked in the guest house washing machine. The initial person sent out was quite the character and unable to help. The next crew who came out got the clothes out, but we didn't risk it again, so all laundry and dishes had to be done in the main house. The cleaning crew could do better - didn't appear they'd swept under the dining room table, hair in bathrooms, and everyone's feet ended up black\dirty before we'd even gone to the beach.Dishwasher and main house washing machine leaked a bit as well, but we adjusted the seals and kept an eye on them.They were quick to respond to issues.All things considered, it's quirky, but we enjoyed it!

Upon arrival the pool was dirty and the trash bins were full from the guest who stayed there previously. I reached out to the host and was told they would get the pool cleaned the next day. Which to me, I would think if you knew you had guest checking out the same day as other guest were checking in...you would get it cleaned. The host let us know someone would come and alleviate the trash situation and they did not until a day or so later. For mainly the entire time we were there we had to leave a pile of our trash bags against the pool gate which made the place look trashy because we could not use the trash bins. Also when I messaged the host they wanted US to pack the trash in our personal vehicles and drive it down to another rental they have. Absolutely unacceptable especially for the amount of money paid. None of us had a truck to put in the back and haul it. Overall the house is spacious and roomy. The cleanness upon arrival I would say is mid. Which is understandable because sand is tracked in everywhere. Like stated in a previous review...for the loft area in the out house it does get a little warm. Bring a fan. The location of the house is a couple blocks from the beach but you still have to drive there. Also this house is located in a gated community and ALL houses are very very close to each other. So if you are wanting to play a speaker while in the pool it will have to be on low volume.

Courtyard House

This property was comfortable for our large group, the apartment above the garage, allowed for some separation. The courtyard was inviting and the pool was nice. It was also steps away from the community pool. we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing property

We had a wonderful time here! We stayed for an adult getaway and the location was beyond amazing! It was a pristine and quiet neighborhood! The private beach access was so convenient and easy to get to! Would absolutely recommend this place! You can’t beat it!

Wonderful accommodations

We loved our stay. Plenty of space for everyone. The pool looks smaller on the photos but it was a great spot to hang out even with all of us in it. There is no parking for the beach access but we dropped off so only 1 had to walk the entire way. If you have older kids/adults the walk is not bad but we had several littles. The decor and photos of the house are accurate.

The inside of the home was dirty upon arrival. it was sand all downstairs from the kitchen to the front door. the pool was extremely dirty upon arrival and stayed dirty the whole duration of my stay. The pool was not cleaned until the night before my check out date which is very inconvenient

St Francis rental

This house has a great location and plenty of space for our family. Our grandkids loved having the private pool to play in after returning from the beach. Upon check in, there were five bathrooms of which only two had toilet paper. There were no extra trash bags and no dishwasher pods/soap. The kitchen is poorly equipped but the gas grill was nice. It could definitely use a thorough cleaning. All things considered, I would rent it again.

A bit pricey but lots of beds....

Plenty of room for a large group. We used the main and guest houses. We had to have been the first renters since last season, film of dust on all surfaces and musty smelling, including the bed linens. We prepared most meals there and both kitchens lack a few basic necessities (no coffee machine in the guest kitchen). A few lights didn't work, a few windows didn't open. We had a some plumbing issues and property manager was generally responsive. The house backs up to a very noisy and busy street. Much confusion on the directions for beach gate and the passcode didn't work. Great location if you're looking to be close to shops and have a large group, as the guest house alone will sleep 6 comfortably. Plenty of bath linens.

Definitely not as described!

This home was not what I expected. The reviews stated how clean and well kept this property was and that was not my experience at all. Things were broken all around the house (light fixtures, door handles falling off, and other small things), paint was chipped and scuffed. The pool house had a horrible chemical smell, the pool was filthy, master shower jets didn’t even spray with full force due to build up! I can keep going! I tried contacting housekeeping and never received a call back. If you are use to a well kept clean house I do not recommend this location!

Family Vacation

While this house is incredibly large and can accommodate a large extended family there were some misleading things and drawbacks. First, the second house is over the garage making and the loft area with the four twin beds is EXTREMELY hot. They do provide fans but it was still warm in there. Additionally they truly only provide starters of items that you usually find in a rental (paper towels, toilet paper, etc). We had to purchase our own toilet paper after spending a significant any amount on this rental. It was off putting and seemed cheap. Additionally they do not provide any beach items. We had to bring towels and purchase boogie boards and bring sand toys with us. Again for just a couple hundred dollars they could make the user experience more positive. Last issue we had was how LOUD the street is nearby. I know they can’t control this hit just know that you will hear the cars traveling at all hours. Most nights it’s not bad but starts up early in the morning On the plus side this house is large and the pool (whole small) was nice to have. The community pool is very close too. It’s in a nice gated community and walkable (1/2 mile) to the beach. We enjoyed the house and our time at the beach overall even with the annoyances.

Thanksgiving Destination Vacay

Beautiful home! We had a great experience! There are a few minor touches that could improve the experience. 1. Fix the stove top so it does not require manual ignition with a lighter. 2. Check the toilet in the carriage house because it takes a long time for the water to fill the take after usage. 3. The ceiling fans seem to have only one speed, high. 4. The knob for the fan on the range hood does not work. This is a fantastic unit in a great location! Again, these are minor observations that can be fixed in one day, and they would not keep me from renting this location again. Thanks for a great experience!

Perfect for a group, but only sleeps 16.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Villa. Overall the home was clean, easy to access and in a very walkable community. A couple of downsides were the listing marketed this property as sleeping 18, which we needed. However, it only sleeps 16. Thankfully, we anticipated this error before going down and took an air mattress with us. Just be aware of the discrepancy before traveling (hopefully management will correct this soon on the listing). Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and no-one complained. The other thing to be aware of is the walk to the beach. It is just shy of 1/2 a mile walk. This was not a problem for our group, but those with little children might want to take this into consideration. The walk is easy and mainly through the neighborhood, which is cute and felt very safe. We would return to the Pineapple Villa in the future! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
