The house was perfect fir our group! The beach is a short walk and the kids enjoyed the pool at the house and the private pool across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonder family vacation

This is a beautiful property and had all the items we could possibly need to be comfortable. Any concerns or questions were addressed immediately and taken care of promptly by Cali and Chuck! We had a wonderful time and if we return to Miramar Beach next year, we will for sure check to see if our time would be available to stay again!

Easy check-in. Owners were clear on process and great with communication. Large, spacious kitchen with lots of dishes, pans, and appliances. Wasn’t missing anything for our large group and don’t think we could’ve found a better place. Short walk to the beach, that had very little crowd. Walking distance to coffee shop and ice cream. Overall, loved and would stay in again.

Miramar Family Vacation Memories

We enjoyed the stay and the memories made on our vacation. The hosts were very helpful when we had some home appliance issues. The proximity to the private beach, house pool and the community pool made it great for all the family Members. We definitely would go back and spend time in the beautiful house.

Wonderful home and hosts!

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. There were 10 of us in age from 13 to 70 and there was plenty of room. The hosts were phenomenal with their communication and they had the house stocked with everything we needed. The private pool is great to relax in and the location of the house is perfect. We’ve been coming to Destin for 25 years and this was our favorite place to stay so far.

Family vacation at sandy sheets

We had an amazing time staying at Sandy Sheets! Beautiful home and great location - only 2 minute walk to the beach! The beach was private and just gorgeous! We had 8 adults plus a baby and we had PLENTY of room for more ! The owners were available all week by phone/ text and were immediately responsive to our questions! They even greeted us with a little special something when we arrived to the house! 10/10 recommend and would stay again!

Great house for large group

This is a great house with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Then all 13 of us could come together in the large living room/kitchen/dining area to share meals, play games, and spend time together! Very close to the beautiful beach!! Gorgeous Home & Perfect location!

The house was perfect for our family vacation! Plenty of space. Perfect location! Short distance to coffee shop, DQ, & the Beach! The house was equipped with everything we needed. The owners Chuck & Cali were sweet to check in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely will be back! Loved the security guard, so sweet and personable.

Beautiful home and great location

Sandy Sheets was a fantastic place to stay. The house was beautiful, very spacious, and extremely well stocked. Every bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus! Chuck and Cali are very responsive if needed. They are wonderful hosts. The short walk to the beach and many restaurants was very convenient. We also loved being close to a great coffee shop. Take time to get to know Lewis at the beach gate. He’s a jewel. We will definitely be back!

Family Fun at Sandy Sheets

Week long family vacation with 2 grandparents, 6 parents and 10 grandchildren and we all fit comfortably 😀. One grandchild described the house as “it’s a Barbie dream house”. The pool in the back and the pool across the street got lots of use following wonderful days on the private beach. It was a short walk to the beach and we appreciated the wagon at the house to haul our gear. Everything was just as described and even roomier than expected. Owners were super responsive. Kitchen was great and plenty of seating for everyone to hang out on the main floor. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful, large home with amazing hosts

Sandy Sheets was the perfect house for our family vacation. It's a beautiful home with plenty of space for our group of 13. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and is so large that we never bumped into each other. It's conveniently located next to a living room with enough room for all of us to hang out. There are plenty of beds & rooms for everyone. And the views from the 4th floor balcony are amazing. It's minutes from a private beach and comes with 2 chairs & an umbrella that were always front & center on the beach. Just 1 block off the main road, it's very convenient to walk to coffee, restaurants and beach shops, making it the perfect location.Chuck & Cali are great hosts! They communicate very well and let us know as soon as the house was ready. I highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again.Thanks Chuck & Cali for making our family vacation such a memorable one!!

A Week At Sandy Sheets

We chose Sandy Sheets because of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the private pool and proximity to the private beach. It could not have been better! A bonus is that the community pool is directly across the street from the location of the home. There were 17 of us ranging in age from 1 year up to age 70. Be aware there are a lot of stairs if that is a concern. It wasn't an issue for our group. We highly recommend!!! Thank you, Chuck and Cali!!!

Fabulous home and location

Just finished our week long family vacation at Sandy Sheets. 10 adults, 6 children ages 2-12. If we are ever able to go to Destin again we will definitely stay here. The house provided everything we needed and more. We shared lots of family meals at the house and lacked for nothing. So many places to gather at the house. The kids loved the bunk room and the pool at the house and the community pool, just steps across the street. There was a fabulous coffeehouse, dairy, queen, and beach within easy walking distance. Owners were easily available if we had any needs. There were lots of stairs, but with a large home I don’t really see any way around that. Great house.

Best owners and house

Our stay was amazing. We loved the house and it was plenty of room for our group of 14. It was great for multiple families and Nannies. The owners were super responsive even when we had a small issue they were there within 20 minutes. The pool was a plus and bigger than we thought it would be from the photos. We loved there was an alarm on the back door to watch out for the kids going to the pool. 4 suvs and 2 golf carts fit in the driveway but the garages are not available for use. The beach is only one block away and convenient to walk to everyday. You do not need a golf cart for the beach, only if you want it for restaurants. We definitely plan to come back next year!

Miramar Family getaway

Our family, ranging in age from 2 to 62, stayed at Sandy Sheets in Miramar beach and had a great time. With such a wide range of accommodation needs, the setup worked well. Location was so close to the beach that we never considered renting a golf cart even with our daily haul to the sand. There are stairs-a-plenty so plan to get your steps in but we were well aware of this going in. Communications to our host during our stay were quickly responded to with no issues whatsoever. Beautiful decor and high-end furnishings with more TVs than you could ever watch. A very large kitchen with an ice machine and plenty of grocery space served us well. The back patio and dip pool was the perfect spot to gather our group. We highly recommend Sandy Sheets for your Miramar Beach adventure.

Perfect family vacation home!

We spent a week at this VRBO for our family vacation and couldn’t have loved it more. The house is HUGE, so you definitely have privacy for each individual group. The rooms are quiet and spacious. The balconies are huge with plenty of seating. The kitchen was large and has everything you need. The backyard pool is bigger in person than in the pictures, our three year old loved it. Plus, you have the neighborhood pool across from the driveway! The beach is a very short and doable walk from the house, even with carrying all your stuff and carrying our three year old toddler! The beach itself is absolutely gorgeous, not crowded, and clean. We had two concerns for the owners while we were there, they responded IMMEDIATELY and took care of the concerns in real-time. We met them twice and they are very kind and helpful. Overall, the place is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. (Our ages were 3-52 years). Highly recommend this home for your Destin/Miramar trip! (Only one suggestion would be for room-darkening blinds in the bedrooms). Thank you to the hosts for sharing their gorgeous home with us!

Beautiful property

From before getting to the property we were already in touch with the owner. He greeted us at the door upon early arrival and showed us around the house. Extremely nice man. We had 9 adults and 6 children and fit comfortably in the house. We take large vacation with this group of family somewhere different every year and this year did not disappoint. Weather didn't cooperate perfect but we enjoyed the backyard pool and some good quality fun and laughs. If you are looking for a nice house with great owners this is one should definitely be on your list. Not to far of a walk to the beach and 2 chairs with umbrella set up for you. A couple things to keep in mind are theres alot of stairs. The older folks stayed on the bottom floor with us. Also there are no locks on the doors. Not even bathrooms.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Our family of 7 adults and 5 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Sandy Sheets” last week. The house is spacious with ample bedroom and bathrooms available for everyone. The living area/kitchen on second floor was perfect for family gatherings—with plenty of seating for everyone. The balconies were furnished with comfortable seating, providing a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The home is nicely furnished, very clean, and has comfortable bedding. The kitchen was spectacular with everything we needed (utensils, small appliances, pots/pans, serving dishes, etc) at our fingertips. In addition to the private pool and patio area at the back of the house, the community pool was directly across the street from the front door. We had plenty of parking, as we parked 4 vehicles and a golf cart in the driveway. There was only a 3-4 minute walk to the beautiful private beach. The owners are fabulous to work with, communicating with us and letting us know about check-in, gate codes, wifi, etc prior to our arrival. After our arrival, they checked on us to see if we needed anything. When we did have an issue with the washing machine (no fault of theirs), they responded immediately and promptly got a NEW washing machine as a replacement. We all were in awe of how attentive they were to details and how nice they were to work with. We highly recommend this house. It is fabulous!!!!

The house was amazing, and our family of 10 had plenty of room. Our location was just a block from the beach with easy access and close to restaurants, shopping, and activities. If we weren't at the beach, the private pool was a popular spot for both kids and adults. The neighborhood was quiet, and all enjoyed the community pool across the street. We've been coming to Destin for the past 31 years, and this home has been one of our favorites. Chuck and Cali were a pleasure to deal with and we plan to return.

Large Family Beach Trip

The hosts of this property are simply angels, so welcoming upon our arrival and quick to respond. We had a large group of friends and family from 3 years old to 70+. This house had a fully stocked kitchen since we stayed in for most meals, and was a short walk to the beach, coffee shop, pizzeria, and dairy queen. Everything was perfect. Only thing you may want to take note of with young kids and older guests is the amount of stairs.

Great Beach House

We had a great week at “Sandy Sheets”! The owners are awesome and very responsive to all questions. We also had a special treat waiting for us when we arrived! The house was close to the beach and our grandkids loved having the pool in the backyard. The community pool was so close and when we all wanted to swim we walked across the street and enjoyed the waterfall. The house was perfect and we all had room to gather together or to spread out and have our privacy. I highly recommend bringing your family to this wonderful house! Davis Family from Missouri

The Perfect Week

Our entire family had a very memorable week at Sandy Sheets. The house was beyond our expectations; from size to location to accessibility to the owners as needed. It was my husband and me, our 3 sons and their wives, and 3 grandchildren ages 4, 1 1/2, and 8 mos. The two older boys were in the bunks and the baby was on a brand new pack’n play that the owner bought just because we requested it. He was even willing to continue to shop to find another booster if we wanted it. He was very prompt in returning my calls if I had a question. He even met us at the house when we arrived with some snacks and a welcome drink (even sparkling cider which the 4 yr old and his pregnant mommy appreciated). There was music playing throughout the house which welcomed us warmly for what was yet to come! The property has more than ample sleeping arrangements. We all had our private areas when we needed to get away. The pool was perfect for the afternoon after spending the morning on the beach (very short walk, even with little ones). Part of the pool gets afternoon shade which was welcomed after enough sun. The house was immaculate. We ate in most nights and there was every kind of utensil, pots, pans, dishes, and plenty of them. Our entire group was able to eat together inside and out on the balcony. Having balconies on both levels was fantastic, especially when some of the little ones got up early and could go out there with parents to play until the rest of us got up. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet street just 1 block from the beach. All of our kids told us it was the perfect week and this property helped to make that happen. We will definitely be coming back to this house if we return to this area.
