DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT!!! SEVERELY understaffed, the entire place was a mess. Trash cans over flowing everywhere, floors are dirty, and the waterpark is a complete joke. Nobody is watching or policing children so there are all completely wild. Life guards do not care (only 1 on duty in the park). Multiple broken parts of the waterpark & caution cones everywhere. This place has been majorly neglected. Ladies at the front desk were polite and understanding but the rest of the facility was just gross. We did not even stay the night in our room and left the waterpark as my 2 small children couldn’t even enjoy it with the chaos in there.

It was very noticeable that they were short staffed. Rooms not vacuumed neither were the hallways and sitting areas. Only one operable elevator on the waterpark side of the resort. Only one place to purchase food and that was the food shack in the waterpark area and they had very limited hours and only one person working and he was not always at the counter or within ear shot. The bathrooms/changing areas in the waterpark were not cleaned.

W checked in around 3 with an online booking that implied the waterpark passes were included. Upon check in we were told that it is not in fact included and was an additional fee. This was only the start of our issues. Throughout the few hours we’ve been here we have dealt with: nobody at the front desk or the manager Jared being in the side room or out at a table watching the game on the tv with a sign posted “be back briefly”. This sign was up for at least two hours that I noticed, but was only taken down when the lady for nights came in and took it down. Aside from this we also have a room that has a broken remote, a dirty bathroom, stuff on the walls of the room, no mattress covers just basic sheets, dirty floors, metal sticking out of the bottom of one of the beds that will cut somebody, a bathroom trashcan that has blood on the bottom of it and didn’t have any bags. Instead of getting a new bag or even getting it wiped out Jared just put trash bags at the bottom and said that was all he could do after putting a bag in it. The waterpark is disgusting and there should never be only one lifeguard on duty. Parents were life guards for kids who were not theirs, including us having to help another child in the water today because one lifeguard cannot handle the entire area when it’s busy. The room that I got it was not the one that I reserved. Expedia somehow switched it when I paid it got taken out of my bank account and then said there was an error so I had to rebook it and then I was billed twice. Had to wait two hours late for our room the pool in the hotel was disgusting. The water fountain is so black and dirty. He can’t even use it. The coffee was only put out for an hour. Overall stay with four kids who was definitely not enjoyable as planned and probably won’t return or recommend to anybody. I would rather drive an extra 45 minutes and go to Frankenmuth when I said something to one of the employees he was very irate with me and I was simply asking at 3 o’clock if my room was ready.

I stayed for three nights with my 8-year-old Granddaughter and 9-year-old Niece. Check in took almost an hour. A lot of people checking in and understaffed front desk. Our room was clean however the lock plate on the door kept moving so it was difficult to close the door. One of the screws was missing. I reported it but when we left on the 4th day it had not been fixed. Our room cards kept failing. I had to have them replaced 5 times and every time I went to the front desk for new cards, there were several people there for the same thing, so they were obviously having issues with the room cards! The last time I waited almost 3 hours to get new cards so we could go back to the room! We went for the water park but the girls said it was boring so after 2 hours they were done and preferred the pool, however the pool door could not be opened with a room card so you had to wait for someone at the front desk to let you in or someone inside the pool to open the door. There were never any pool towels available and when I asked I was told people took them to their rooms and did not return them. Not sure if this was the norm for this property but it seemed they were very understaffed in all departments. The manager was fairly rude but perhaps it was because he was so busy. The lady at the front desk tried to be accommodating but it just did not seem very well ran overall. There is no breakfast or onsite restaurant serving breakfast, but Bob Evan's is close walking distance.

I have never stayed in such a hot mess. I didnt have any towels or blankets in my room. I tried calling the front desk for an hour and it constantly rang busy. The water park was absolutely disgusting. Trash cans over flowing and not emptied for 2 days. Bags of trash and piles of wet towels lined the halls. I had to scrub down a table just to have lunch with my grandkids. Im honestly not sure how this place is even open.

I had the family room. There were only 2 towels when I arrived. I had to wait 8 hours just for towels. The tub wouldn’t drain correctly it took 24 hours just for them to fix. The sink started leaking. The microwave in the main area was filthy. It was pizza boxes and chips all throughout the common areas. Half of the arcade games wasn’t working at all unplugged. They were clearly understaffed. It was horrible.

I would not recommend this place for more than 1 night. Check in process was weird, they did not ask for my IF or card to put on file? There was only one older lady working the entire afternoon into the evening and only one lady the next day. We asked several times for towels and wash clothes to shower after the water park and never received any, we finally went back to the next and she found 2 towels in the back office- more like a large hand towel. We went back to the water park and took pool towels to shower. The water park bathrooms were very run down and not very clean. The “party” area the next morning that I walked by was a mess, good all over the floor, cups, water bottles etc. I had called and asked if there was coffee in the lobby, the lady said, I’ll make some. They only had powder creamer and after asking for something to stir it with, she said she could not find any utensils even though they had a little breakfast nook with a microwave & utensil holder. The water park and arcade hours are only 10-8pm, nothing posted or explained at check in. You can’t check in until 3pm, so you only get 5 hrs the day you check in to do both and you have to check out by 11am the next day so you only get 1hr. In the water park & arcade. Basically if you stay 2 days & 1 night, you get 6 hrs for both attractions for $340. Not worth it to stay the night in my opinion. It was ok for a little get away but you get what you pay for….. they could do some much better and it could be a nicer

Find out first what hours the waterpark is open. Look into the reservation more. Make sure you see if hotel and waterpark are a package.

I was given 2 room options, first room wasn’t clean. The refrigerator was dirty and the pillowcases had a woman’s hair all over them. Our second room was much better but we did not have towels, so I had to request them in which they didn’t have washcloths. They only had hand towels for us to bathe with.. no restaurant open, some of the gaming systems were broken and not enough staff

Literally waited 1hr 45mins just to check in. Only to still be charged waterpark passes. No type of compensation or anything. Went into my room to hurry and get changed for the waterpark with my 7 year old daughter and in walks a random woman who was given the same room # as me. Literally walked in while me and my child was undressed!! After being startled I looked around the room there was food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. Marshmallows on the floor and behind the bed along with plastic cups that were left on the floor. I spoke with the manager and he apologized for a random woman walking in my room and assured me no one else would come in there. We get to the pool after 6pm to finally swim then they turn around and say it closed at 8pm and not 10pm like we were told at the front desk and over the phone prior to our arrival. We were then told the actual hotel pool stays open to 10 so we headed there and it was filled with a bunch of kids coughing uncontrollably because the chlorine was so thick in the air! This completely ruined my spring break experience with daughter and I do not recommend this place to anyone! Oh not to mention you can’t even get a good nights rest with how noisy it is in there. Literally sounds like someone is going to bust through the ceiling and walls!! Absolutely ridiculous

Property overall cleanliness in the hotel/ water park area was very not good, not sure if it was a staffing issue or what. Lots of random trash all over the hallways in all areas that I saw. Most of the showers in the boys locker room were not working. The lockers you had to pay to keep your stuff safe did not appear to be working. There was very few staff to address cleanliness and sanitation concerns in and around the pool area. Broken drains and obvious puke on the floor between the lazy river and other water park area. Broken large water slide. Room was relatively clean but was not given a room with a king bed, which was part of the reservation. Did not try any of the food or drink out of caution for how the other areas of the facility were being handled.
