« It was so peaceful and beautiful with an amazing view of Mount Shasta! The cabin we stayed in was really nice, comfortable bed and cozy couch to enjoy a movie on the tv in the evenings, which they have plenty of apps avaliable, like Netflix, to use. We especially loved sitting on the porch at night enjoying a glass of wine and the ambience of the stringed lights they have up in the shared courtyard. It's also peaceful sitting out there in the mornings with tea and coffee. Definitely keeping this...

« If ever I were to own a cabin, it would be of the design of this one. Rustic feel with solid and complete foundational amenities. Greats: cathedral ceiling/loft/windows, large porch, bbq, wood stove, no TV, solid internet, great shower and bathroom, firm and comfortable mattresses. Nit-picky cons: jacuzzi isn't really a traditional hot tub, 30 min drive to/from Ashland on a very winding (yet picturesque) road, check-out time of 10am with $35 fee to extend to noon. « The Basecamp Lodge was awesome! The property is super cool, with a really fun looking communal courtyard (we'll have to check that out in the summer months!) and it feels very neighborhood-y versus commercial. Town is very close if you need take-out, groceries (fire wood at Ray's!), or things to do (Movie Theater near Ray's, Ice Skating rink is like 3 min drive, Ski Park/Sledding, Lake Siskiyou).We stayed in Cabin 4 which was perfect for us. « This was our third visit to Cabin 6. It has really charmed us and has become a place we look forward to seeing. Being returning guests, we noticed that the property owners continue to upgrade the property and the room itself, including a new HVAC system that works very quickly to warm the room. We love to have dinner out in Shasta, but always use the full kitchen for some of our meals and save a little money.Looking forward to making our way back to basecamp! »

« The cabin was absolutely amazing, it was clean and neat when we got there, and the heaters were on. We had a small issue with the hot water, but Ryan the maintenance guy was there in less than 10 minutes and fixed it. He was polite and courteous and prompt.The views were amazing and the little nature walk was very nice. But the hot tub did all the heavy lifting. »

« This place exceeded expectations. Very clean, well maintained, and well built cabin with a loft and jacuzzi tub. The restaurant was closed, but the Hyatt was 8 minutes away, and was told by the helpful person there that the restaurant will open again soon.
