When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. Our first visit to the Elan Valley dams and we could not have picked a better day. If you are in Wales and love great views, wonderful driving roads and the great outdoors I highly recommend visiting and walking around the area.

It will take at least a day for a relaxed visit, walks and photographs or 3 hours with a few stops and a good drive through the valleys. The drive north to Devils bridge was excellent.
