After completing the booking, it became clear that platform offers no substantive customer support. As a platform, platform provides no meaningful customer support and simply redirects you back to the host, then steps away. The suite itself is a basement unit, a fact that should have been explicitly stated in the listing. It is not suitable for five guests as advertised; it can accommodate only three. When we raised concerns, the host suggested using the sofa as an additional sleeping space. The sofa bed was broken and could not be flattened, requiring another guest to sleep on a standard sofa. Although we reserved the property for five nights, we left after the first due to the poor condition of the unit and its furnishings. platform was unable to provide any help. Guests should be aware of these risks before booking.

Above and beyond!

My husband, our 4 year old, our almost 2 year old and I had a great stay at William's place. It felt like staying at a fancy hotel. It was also a short drive to Montreal downtown without the noise of the city since it was in a quiet neighbourhood. William was welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for being a superb host!

Like at home

My husband and I came to Montreal to visit our family and had stay at William‘s place 6 nights. We had really good time and felt as we are at home. Appartment was clean and neat, well organized for long stay. Neighbourhood is very quiet and have some parks around. William is friendly and attentive person. We would like to stay there for next visit. I will recommend this place to anyone.

Nice stay at a nice apartment

I was traveling with my wife and parents and even though the check-in time was 4 PM, William very kindly agreed to move up the time by an hour to coincide with our arrival since my parents were quite tired and wanted to rest a bit before moving on with the evening's plan. Once we got there, the apartment was very neat and tidy, with all the things one might need during a short stay. The apartment is a 10 minute drive to the nearest Metro station, and is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The only downside was that the mattress wasn't very comfortable, but literally everything else was really good. I fully recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again myself.

basement apartment

The booking page when we booked did not make it clear that this is a basement apartment. It was quite dark and cramped feeling. It would probably be fine for a single person or a couple, but not a family. The bed and pillows in the bedroom were comfortable, but both pull-out couches in the living room were very uncomfortable. Additionally, the only air conditioning unit was in the living room, which meant that at night we had to choose between leaving the door open and lacking privacy, or closing the door and getting hot in the bedroom. We were very excited to use the hot tub, but it remained covered while we were there. It was also in a very exposed area to the neighboring homes. Unfortunately, this space did not work for us at all, and we only stayed two days. We ended up paying extra money to move to a different rental where we could enjoy the rest of our vacation.

Property is located about 12 minutes uber ride to longuil station which takes you downtown Montreal. Uber would be around 20 to the station. For local services. A few restaurants and groceries in the area but you do need a car to access. Property was fairly clean. Fairly meaning. There were dishes still in the dishwasher and no garbage bag liners in the bins. Felt like house keeping didn’t do a proper sweep of the property before we arrived. The property is stocked with a few essential spices and kitchen equipment so you can cook a few meals without any issues. We had four in our party. There is a double bed, sofa and a futon sofa. The futon sofa was not functioning properly and couldn’t be unfolded. So basically the two occupants had sofa beds Couldn’t find the fourth pillow and contacted the host. Except for providing our key code ,No replies from the host or our entirety stay. Later to find out the fourth pillow was in the washing machine soaking wet. If your trip is more Montreal focused probably better to stay closer to downtown.
