« Fabulous cottage in a quiet setting. Airy and light & welcoming. Nice big dining kitchen with (more than!) everything we needed. View from sitting room over the hills was lovely. A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area. »

« We are two retired friends and we had a bedroom each. Great one level property with parking, ideal for us. A gem. Very spacious and every small thing provided. Beautiful garden and very quiet. This was our first visit to the area and we found people everywhere to be very friendly and welcoming.👍😊 »

« Very pleasant stay. Minor annoyance was strict check on time between 5 and 6 to allow for full clean. Would not class as full clean as bin had dirty tissues in it and cutlery/some kitchen ware needed washing before use »

« It was not the best looking area so understand why no pictures of the exterior, it was a quiet area though and very close to amenities.Interior thought was good. The main issue was the floor in the bathroom, the floor is lifting and uneven, we also had a problem getting the shower to work, the “thingy” that you pull up to divert the water from tap to shower was really hard. Lastly 6 bags of garden rubbish appeared in the front garden yesterday. ?? Were from but a bit concerning. Instructions on...

« Small but welcoming the property is very clean, well presented and decorated beautifully to represent the coastal town and area in which it is situated. An ideal base to explore this area of coast and castles. The hosts are very helpful. »

« Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened. »

« Warm comfortable house. Everything one needs for a short stay. As we had been before we knew to take a mat for the shower as it is over a bath. The online details are a bit lacking . Last year I had to contact the owner to check if there was a separate shower . The house is so convenient for Amble harbour. We hope to return. »

« The Sea Breeze was well located for a quiet stay. However it was easy to visit all of the local sights too. We enjoyed a day at Alnwick Castle. »

« Not at at all the property portrayed on the Internet. A few good features, but mainly tired and in need of renovation. Awful location...late night disturbances outside property late at night. Would never return to this property again. I would expect a response from Vrbo! »

« Beautiful property, really well appointed and very clean, lovely outlook over the gardens. The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. The village is great and has pubs, bars and cafes a short walk away, we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. Would recommend »
