Location was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful. The only bummer was the appliances lights were glaring and they are right in front of bed. Just might be our issue. The dog run did have a few too many weeds. However would recommend and will stay again.

Lovely two night stay in Summerhaven. The cabin was clean and cozy- just perfect for a short getaway for my husband, myself and our dog. We’ll definitely go back!

We had a great time!. Clean, easy, and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with our dogs. Easy access to hiking areas. Great way to escape the heat in Tucson.

We appreciated the setup for pets. Great setting, shops, restaurants and friendly people. The cabin was clean and cozy. The TV was great and the beds were comfortable.I'm concerned that the cabins have only one entrance/exit. A fire at the front door would make exiting impossible.

Great mountain getaway!

So close to Tucson and yet a world away. This was a great getaway for us and our dogs. Rustic in an easy and charming way, with all the necessary accoutrements for a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing stay! Our dogs loved the dog area in front of the cabin-they could watch people and other dogs all day! The cabin was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for dog beds. We will be back!

Great spot for some hiking with the pups.

We felt absolutely welcomed walking through the door. Our fur baby already had dishes set and the hated dog yard was perfect for potty breaks. Everything worked perfectly, we slept comfortably, and had basic necessities.

We had a wonderful, freezing evening watching the stars at the U of A telescope. It was so nice to come to a warm room and not have to drive down the mountain.

Great Stay

Keep in mind these cabins are on the main drag. Before 1000 and after 1900 most of the day trippers are gone and it is a very comfortable/quite experience. House Keeping staff was excellent and informative on the property. Appreciated that on our 1st stay. All cabins have kitchens and strongly recommend you BYOF because availability and business hours are limited on local diners.

I will be coming back!

This was the nicest studio cabin. It has a full size fridge and an oven. I will be planning on coming back in a few months with a few of my friends along with our dog. Take advantage of the cost effective location.

The cabin was nice, but the location is not good. Your cabin is next to another separated by a walkway and five feet not cabinesk in my opinion.

The location is beautiful with wildflowers blooming, close to shops and of course, the hiking trails. The room was clean but maybe a bit neglected. There were games in a drawer, but they were broken, not usable. There was a small coffee maker with 2 coffee bags but no sugar or creamer.

Very clean and modern

We had to park far from our cabin door in order to take our belongings into our space. We were very pleased with the cabin and cleanliness. There was a puddle under refrigerator door that was contiuous. Doing all home-cooked meals, I would have liked lids fitting all the pots and pans. Also, a cutting board would be nice.

The floor was swept clean but needed mopping. Front door gasket needs to be replaced. Landscaping needs work. It was very weedy. Shower rubber gaskets installed wrong which caused the water to leak out. Teflon fry pans all scratched - needs replacing. Cutting board needs to be replaced.

I really appreciate that I could bring my cat along. Not have to get a pet sitter, and no obvious leavings that other pets had been there before us. ❤️ The property needs a few signs in front of the cabbin how to get info. I was accosted by several people trying to get information. I mean chased down. I don't hear very well... Apparently they were also yelling at me. People climbed over barriers to get photos of themselves on my porch. The barriers are there. The problem is people. Unfortunately maybe a sign stating that others are enjoying the tranquility they have paid good money for might be in order. Do not disturb. Do not climb over fences to add to your Instagram posts.
