The kids loved the animals, especially the goats and bunnies, and I loved sitting by the creek as my husband pushed the kids on the swing. It was the perfect getaway and all the fresh air and walking left us a good exhausted.“

„The house had everything needed. We couldn’t figure out the gas logs but it didn’t really matter to us. The weather was freezing (17 degrees feels like -10) and we had snow so the house felt warm and comfortable even with high winds throughout the night. Thankfully there’s a road above to leave the house during the winter weather so we didn’t slide down the driveway. Pet friendly is the reason we booked. Everyone in our family agreed that we would stay again. “

„Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.“
