« Friendly staff. Spacious room with a view overlooking the countryside. Charging point for the car was free of charge for guests. We had a meal there which was on the pricey side but the food was exquisite. There was a choice of different breakfasts. We selected the Eggs Royale which was beautifully presented and delicious. Good value for money. Overall a really enjoyable stay. »

« Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. »

« Alles brandneu, aufwändig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sowohl die Zimmer, als auch Restaurant und Bar. Schöner Außenbereich.Tolles Essen! Die Zimmer sind direkt über der Bar, so dass es ziemlich laut ist, bis dort Feierabend gemacht wird. »

« Chambre au dessus du pub donc très bruyant jusqu a 23h30. Chambre qui donne sur la route bcp de passage. Avons demandé de changer mais pas possible. Pas de cb obligé d aller retirer du cash. La nuit on entend les bruits de frigos. »

« Lovely location overlooking the river. 15 minute drive to Telford International Centre (we were there for my daughter’s cheer competition). Close to Ironbridge which is gorgeous. Nice big room and great shower. Lovely staff. »

« The vaults room where I’ve stayed before is functional everything works and the bed is comfy. It’s in the centre of town and there’s plenty of parking in Shrewsbury. »

« Absolutely no heating, complained two times, said they reset the boiler but still nothing, had to ask a portable heating device, not acceptable for the prixe of the night. Also didn’t get any hot water in the morning »

« La réception est fermé jusqu'à 5h00 pm et pourtant l'arrivée est prévue à partir de 2h00 pm. Les chambres sont simples pour le prix. Par contre, le déjeuner est très bon. »

« Travelled from Yorkshire en route to the New Forest, stayed one night. We had a comfortable nights stay, an amazing evening meal & a fantastic breakfast! We would love to return. Great room facilities including a fan which was much appreciated! Popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Recommended! »

« We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience »
