« We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. « We attended an event at the Ironstone Amphitheater and this place was less than 10 min away. It is such a cute and cozy place with everything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the back deck in the morning and a family of wild turkeys visited...it was awesome. »

« This house is a gem. It is large, very clean and a museum!! Most of the house has furnishings and fixtures from over 100 years ago. It is fantastic. I spent so much time reading the little descriptions of items in the house. The stove, the shelves, windows, chairs, paintings, etc. I enjoyed every moment.
