„The property is well maintained, very cosy and welcoming. Host Chris is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Our little dog was most welcome and I think she enjoyed having a yard to sniff around in and play ball. I would highly recommend this to other travelers with dogs. Easy walk into the town for coffee or dinner at the local pub.“

„In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!“

„I can’t fault our stay at Riverbend Gardens. It began with a warm welcome from our hosts Wendy, Mark and their adorable menagerie, along with a cuppa and chocolate cake. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our last day started with a yummy breakfast and more bottle feeding of the lambs and we were farewelled with beautiful rose bouquets. We will definitely be back!“
