« They could not find their maintenance man to unlock the pool, apparently he had the one and only gate key to the pool. At breakfast the served link sausage that looked raw and just generally nasty. The tub in our room was dirty, apparently housekeeping does not scrub the sides of the tub, the tub had a water leak and was also slimy where water stood. »

« This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! We found our room, as well as the facility, to be extremely clean and comfortable. The decor is in keeping with the "lodge" feel. The lobby is welcoming with a massive fireplace and attractive stairwells. The indoor pool is a good size and depth for our grandsons, ages 12 and 9. « Breakfast was excellent! House was quite. Only issue was that we didn't know that kitchen was open to guest on the first day. That is where the homemade cookies, muffin, and coffee is! »

« The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. »

« First of all. Don’t judge this hotel by the pictures on Expedia. There is a reason there are not many. The building and facilities are not updated or well maintained. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel where quality matches price. This is the place for you. If you stay here-do not use the cheaper non refundable rate that is offered. I made that mistake. « We stay at Brookwood Inn every time we come to Branson. : ) You can't beat the price for what you get. Our room was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, and we appreciated the free breakfast.
