Great location BUT…… the front door was hardly secure, the vents all had layers of dust and possibly mold, the bathrooms had significant issues with showers not containing water and causing slip hazards, the oven door would not secure which did not allow the oven to hold temperature, molding and trim coming off the wall, doors splitting, and only 1 of the 3 TVs was operable. Attempted to contact host and VRBO multiple times with no resolution. The quality of the condo did not match the price of the accommodations. Very disappointing.

Decent place but great location

Rented this to be close to the beach. We got there and got unloaded which carts are provided in the lobby for easy transfer of luggage and such to rooms. We got up to our room a little before 9pm, walked in and it felt like a steam room. The place was very stuffy and hot. Looked at the thermostat and it was set for as low as it could go which was 68 but was currently sitting at 79. We reached out after an hour and we’re told be patient. We decided to go to bed and deal with in the morning. Come 7 that morning no one could sleep as it reached 82 inside even with the fans running. We again reached out to the owner and was told she’d have someone come look. At 11 my husband reached out and told the owner we still had no air, it was 82 and that we needed something done as we had young child there. She told my husband that we got it at a great deal for the place implying that we should not worry about the air conditioning. My husband said with two young kids that wasn’t acceptable and that she could refund us the money and we’d go else where. She finally decided to call someone out. Great. We were told they were on the way and it would be an hour which sucked but we were happy someone would be out. Finally at 4 someone showed up and fixed the issue. We were upset that someone missed out on a days vacation due to an issue that should have been checked prior to arrival. Looking at other reviews that came in after we booked our stay, this apparently was an issue brought up months ago but not addressed. The place was not as clean as I’d expected. There was a thick layers of dust on the door in the kitchen, someone’s dirty sock in the entrance room table from a previous guest, a water bottle with spit, chew and beer can under the side of one of the beds and the floors could use a good sweep and scrub as well as the walls. There were splatters of who knows what what on several walls in the kitchen/living room. We cleaned some spots on the wall that grossed us out. We also ended up wearing shoes inside because of how black our feet would get from the floors. Overall cleanliness was 1/5. However this was things we could take care of ourselves. The convenience of the beach and shops and food being so close were positives. The place was decent just not up to the standards advertised in the listing. Regarding the cleanliness, she did share that they hired a new company but that seemed to be the same response given previously as well to another reviewer.

Family Fun

The condo was everything we needed. Having a K-Cup coffee machine is a plus. Get your cup of coffee and enjoy the property and beach! All the different pools on this property keep the kids entertained. The only issue we had was the room was this being cleaned at check-in at 4pm. Great location for all the hot spots!

Great location, condo needs work, unfortunate string of events

Booked a last minute trip knowing we would be one of the first guests staying at this VRBO. When arrived at 6pm (2 hours after check in) the room had not been cleaned from the guests prior to our arrival. The property manager was very responsive and came over within minutes to clean the property herself while we went down to check out the beach. The room has a beautiful view of the beach and it is at the very end of the hall making it private. That evening when we finally got settled I had some work to do on the computer, but had difficulty finding the WiFi as it was not the correct name as in the intro email we received prior to check in, but once again the property manager was very responsive and helped locate the user name almost immediately. We gave our children (1yrs old and 3yrs old a bath in the tub and found the handle very difficult to turn. The next night we gave the kids a bath again and this time the handle broke off completely, and the water would not stop flowing. Urgently, I called for assistance, afraid of flooding the condo. Once again the property manager told me where to locate the spigot to turn off the water to the entire condo, and then sent her husband over to turn off the water to the bathtub. The next morning a plumber came to put the handle back on the bathtub, but did not replace it, and it was still very difficult to use, so we opted to hold on baths that evening. The next day we had a great time at the water park and the beach, but came back to the room to find the AC having trouble cooling. We ended up setting it on 69 but could not get cooler than 81. It was very uncomfortable with 2 small children especially since we couldn’t open the door as we didn’t feel comfortable with them having access to the balcony. We decided to ultimately cut our trip short and leave a night early because we were so uncomfortable. They ended up refunding us 2 nights, (one when the AC broke and the night we didn’t stay for). It was really a string of unfortunate events, and it’s not necessarily anyones fault single-handedly but it definitely wasn’t the enjoyable stress free get away we thought we were escaping to. All in all I think the condo needs a little work, but the location is fabulous and the resort has great options for food and entertainment. Lastly, if you want to stay here and you go to sleep a little on the earlier side, I suggest bringing some white noise, as they do karaoke every night until 11pm and the restaurant
