« The house is beautifully decorated and has all the mod-cons you could need. The living area was spacious and there was plenty of seating for 4 adults and a child. There is also a nice desk area that my daughter enjoyed doing her drawings. The Wifi was strong throughout the house and was good enough to stream on multiple devices at the same time. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The fridge stocked with milk and butter, and the coffee machine was stocked with capsules which was a lovely...

« Great location , off street parking a plus. Clean bedding and towels . Enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine ! Some decoration , furniture showing signs of wear and tear. . Pizza cutter and a bin in the bathroom would be good. Great for a short stay and communication from host fab . »

« A lovely, welcoming property, which was perfect for a catch up, with ample beds, towels and bedding, enough utensils for cooking a quick meal before relaxing with drinks on the patio, in the hot tub, in the airy living space or all of the above! Everything was well appointed and easy to find, loved the en suite wet room. The chickens provided unexpected entertainment and the neighbouring sheep and alpacas were very chill. « Perfect for exploring Chester on foot and close to the station. Lovely comfy beds but the house itself was not as clean as I would have liked and there are a few maintenance issues but nothing to spoil the stay. We had a great week there. The size of the house was perfect for our family of 5 with older teenagers, not a huge amount of living space for a bigger group though. »

« After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform. »

« Even better than it shows online, it has everything you need with any age group accommodated, and with a mixed group.. space and something for all. The village and The Badger is a big bonus as well. you will not be disappointed. »

« Property was nice but it’s not a 4 b from house it has s 2 two bed flats but by keeping both front doors open feels like a house… parking is on street and difficult to find space.. downstairs has back bedroom in exention and need ti walk through kitchen to access… but it was ok for us as 4 men.. it was clean throughout comfortable beds apart from small room upstairs.. bathrooms very nice with shower upstairs only… … »

« Comfortable, attractive accommodation. Well equipped kitchen with breakfast hamper complete with eggs with bright orange yolks. Plenty of books to read while enjoying the birdsong and relaxing in this wonderfully tranquil location. »

« A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas »
