I had an excellent stay at the Avid Hotel Nashville South – Smyrna by IHG. From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and welcoming. Check-in took less than five minutes and was completely seamless.
The room itself was modern, spotless, and very well maintained. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed, which made the stay extremely comfortable. While the breakfast options were somewhat limited, the quality was very good and more than sufficient to start the day. The 24-hour bean-to-cup coffee was a standout amenity and very much appreciated.
The hotel’s location is ideal—right off I-24—yet surprisingly quiet and felt very safe. You could not hear freeway traffic at all, which was impressive given how close it is to the interstate.
I was also very satisfied with the nightly rate. We are locals who stayed during the extreme weather emergency that impacted Nashville, TN, and I was genuinely pleased that this hotel did not inflate their pricing during that time. That level of fairness and integrity truly stood out.
Overall, a fantastic experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area.
