Beautiful historic home to visit. Just a step back in time. Vintage painted lamps in the dining area, shades, the antique bed frames, breezeway windows, screened in porch, handprints of children in concrete, abd the dairy bar a block away is so authentic as well. TRULY appreciated being immersed in history.
Our family really enjoyed this property. It was spacious yet cozy and the owner was very good about communicating info. We would definitely stay here again.
We come to Natchez one weekend a year to spend with the girls in our family. This was our first time staying in this home and it was very cozy. The location was great and the beds were comfortable. We ate at The Castle and Pearl Street Pasta and shopped for Christmas!
The home is located near the downtown area and the kitchen and dining area were ideal for our family group consisting of three generations. The host was very kind and accommodating. We were thankful to be able to gather without having to board our small dog.
We enjoyed our stay in Natchez and this house fit us all well. There were 5 of us and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Very well equipped. And we loved spending time on the screened porch in the evening. Highly recommend!
A great property in Natchez. An older home with lots of charm. Loved the screened side porch for morning coffee and evening wine. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed. Felt safe and most local attractions were a 5 minute car ride away including Natchez Under the Hill, Antebellum mansions, St. Maryâs Basilica, and downtown restaurants. The attic space has been converted to a bedroom and it got warm in the summer afternoon heat, but cooled down in time for bed. The home has some âold house characterâ such as uneven floors that may present a challenge to some but did not bother us at all. Kitchen and bathroom have been updated. Had a great time and would stay here again if in the area.
This VRBO house was beyond horrible, I would not recommend to my worse enemy. The house and grounds were dirty and unkept. The listing and narrative was very deceptive. The 2nd bathroom was in the attic, a bathtub with a hose. The furniture was old, smelled and was worn out. The coffee pot had been used in another lifetime, the grounds were molded inside. Large neon. Exit signs were hung in several areas.
This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful little cottage. The 1st time with family and this time with friends. It is so comfortable, has plenty of room, and porch off the side is an added bonus, especially while listening to the rain. The large backyard is beautiful and the house is well stocked. The best part however are the owners! They are extremely accommodating, friendly, and great to work with. I think we have found our home away from home whenever we come to Natchez to visit family and friends! Hopefully we will see you in October!
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here! Lots of bedrooms for us to spread out! The shower on the first floor was great! Sitting area in living area was perfect for 4 people! It was wonderful having the kitchen to prepare breakfast. My only challenge was the driveway - it was a very tight fit getting in, turning around and getting out. We had a great visit and would recommend this rental!
Loved the propertyâŠ. It lacks some TLC in the back. Shrubs need trimmed to the ground so they can come back fresh. The upstairs bathroom baseboards need cleaning very bad. I would certainly stay again. Our hangout was the screened in porch. We shared many memories there.
Had a wonderful trip! Thankfully this house was so close to all! The owner and booking team were all great with communication as well-highly digest staying here!! We also rented a golf cart and did the ghost tour-highly recommend it as well-humor history and haunting-but not too scary!
This is a fantastic place to stay. Itâs an older home, but the inside is totally renovated. Beautiful tile in the bathroom and kitchen, new appliances, fantastic shower, and comfortable beds. There was a TV room and some games, but we spent the majority of our time on the screened in porch. This makes the property! The house is close to downtown and easy to find. (There is a phenomenal doughnut shop at one end of the street; worth waiting in the line!)
7 adults ladies on a girls trip. The location was wonderful. The house was plenty big enough for all us to spread out and not be on top of each other. Loved there was a huge kitchen table so we could all eat together. Our favorite place was the screen porch and the neighbors were so friendly! The only downfall is that all the mattresses were hard so none of us got good sleep. But the good outweighed the beds!
I am from Natchez and returned home to visit family for a few days. This little cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs! We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the fall weather and the yard was large enough to host our group. We even invited family over for hamburgers once we realized there was a grill and well stocked kitchen! The hosts were so easy to work with and even went as far as to let us know they would be unavailable for a few hours, but provided another contact in case anything happened. As a VRBO owner myself, I realize how important this is for guests. The only downfall is the narrow driveway. We are from Texas and drive really big trucks, but if you drive a smaller vehicle you are good to go! The location is perfect for everything in Natchez, the neighborhood quiet, and we will definitely rent again on our next visit home!
We were looking for last minute lodging & this home provide everything we needed. Including a completely gated yard for the dogs to play in. Walking distance from downtown & central to just about everything. New renovations were lovely & made our stay that much more pleasant. Will definitely be staying again when we return to Natchez.
