Place where you want to come back again and again

We have stayed in Merlin previously and this time we stayed in Buzzard, great place, amazing views, very warm and friendly hosts. Thank you, Alison and Matthew!!

Beautiful setting, and accommodation. Also had a delicious venison casserole and fruit crumble meal cooked by our hosts.

Charming Cottage in Small Town Scotland

We had an amazing stay at Kestrel Cottage. Matthew was a wonderful host! Adorable cottage with equipped kitchen, woodburning stove and bedroom - plus a cute breakfast nook with a beautiful view. My husband and I loved our stay here. We definately come back. Our only concern is the bed. It is not comfortable whatsoever. It would be nice to upgrade the bed. We would be willing to pay more for the upgrade. Would love to come back! Thank you for your hospitality.

Peacefull and bonnie

Had a lovely two nights stay in the Kestrel cottage. Scenery from the cottage was very bonnie and the cows next to the cottage were a nice surprice in the morning. For a Finnish lass the quietness of the place and the fireplace was just what I needed from a wee weekend holiday.

Spacious, beautiful room on a 100 acre farm. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but only about 30 minutes from Stirling. Peaceful, exceptionally clean. In the States, the room would be twice as much. Owners are wonderful, accommodating and down to earth. I would love to go back!

Delightful farm experience

Our stay at Nether Glenny was a breath of fresh air after being in other b&bs and guesthouses that we’re very cramped and hot. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was a bonus. One bedroom had a queen bed and a twin bed. The other room had one queen bed. Having a kitchen to bring in food and snacks was very nice as well. We made use of the washing machine since we had been traveling almost a week but there is no tumble dryer as stated in the ad. Thankfully a drying rack was provided. Steep stairs to the bedrooms were a bit of a challenge with our suitcases. The views from the farm are just spectacular and being able to see the ewes with lambs and the highland cows truly made it a Scottish farm experience. Allison was very accommodating and helpful but also very respectful of our privacy. I would highly recommend a stay here when visiting the area.

Fantastic stay. Comfortable and clean. Well equipped cottage with modern amenities. Matthew and Alison were very friendly and welcoming
