Walking into the house, everything was clean and the beds turned out to be comfortable. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and we even saw a couple of deer!Our concerns were the kitchen isn't really stocked with a lot. One hot pad, a pot, a pan or two. Would love to have enough coffee mugs for everyone, so its good we brought our own. The wifi is an absolute joke. Dont expect it to work well at all! We couldn't get through a whole movie without the stupid buffering. A 2 hr movie turned into 3 with the amount of resetting and waiting.The property is clean, comfortable and the host was quick to respond. For a Girl's Trip for 4, we wanted movies, wine and relaxation. We got the wine in Wimberlyand the relaxing was great. Just wished for a better movie night experience.

We loved our stay at Fox Ridge. Location was superb, close to town and other activities, spotted lots of deer which is always a plus. Felt secluded without being fully off the map. Bedrooms were great, beds and sheets were comfy (which is hit or miss with many places). A Bathrooms were clean minus shower curtain needed to be changed, we found one extra and changed the primary bath one- primary shower head also needs to be changed. Kitchen could have an extra frying pan or two, we brought our own one based off previous review. WiFi was spotty, but that is the Hill Country and we made do. Management company was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here- Very spacious and would stay here again!

A little disappointed in this property, it was very quiet and clean, but there were 4 of us and only 2 coffee cups available. Nothing extra by any means. Had several tv's but was a challenge getting them to work properly, the owner tried via messages to help us get them working, but we finally just gave up and used what we could. This property can handle a lot of people and it's very comfortable and inviting. Felt stripping our own beds was a little excessive, I understand taking out trash and not leaving dirty dishes, etc.... Overall would recommend for a larger crowd.

Great Property

Nothing but good things to say about our stay. The home was clean and perfect for our visit. It has a wonderful patio with peaceful surroundings. You will have the chance to get away from everything while being minutes away from the beautiful town of Wimberley and a short drive to many other destinations. Everything was great.

Well Worth the Price!

Place was great! Perfect for the price and location. Was clean and well maintained. I would have appreciated some more in the kitchen to cook with. No frying pans. Just a couple pots. That’s not a deal breaker though! Beautiful property.

Wimberley cabin

We loved our stay with our young family and would definitely rent again. Great location super close to town and convenient to many things. The house was great impressed by the comfortable main bed. Only two notes are that the living room carpet and bath rugs could use a good cleaning, and as I think others have noted, the kitchen has very basic cooking and serving items. But all worked just fine for our trip!

Pissed and Disappointed

My three adult daughters and I arrived at the property and I immediately spoke to management that only one coffee cup was available for four people nor were ice or ice trays available. I was told cups would be brought over the next morning. That never happened. ALL the dishes and silverware we tried to use were dirty and needed to be rewashed. For a two-night stay at the price of $879, I expected more than just comfortable beds and clean floors. Sorry, Fox Run, but morning coffee and nighttime cocktail ice is important to most people. Therefore, I can’t give you a decent review.

Spacious privacy wimberly

Comfortable beds and spacious hangout areas. Close to wimberly yet private. Loved the deer and fox which we saw every day. Could use a few more cooking/baking pans. Would stay again

Nice house in the woods

The house was very clean and the property was nice. Good trees for hammocks. The biggest issue we had was a toilet that would not flush and a sink that drained slowly. Property management was contacted (by text that was given for any issues) and a reply was received 2 hours later that it would be fixed - but it was never fixed. So even though the property was chosen due to the fact that it had 2 bathrooms - we used the one only sparingly.

Beautiful place. Very spacious, as big as it is, I wish it could accomodate more than 6 people.

We are very impressed about this place. It's like you are really on your own in "The Woods". Very cozy vibe in and out the house at night. If you arrive at night, just make sure you have a flashlight to get around and open the door at the back to get in. Beautiful in the morning, deer all over the place. Our host, Ms April was very accommodating and very prompt whenever I have questions. Amenities are awesome, plenty of towels for everyone. Pots and pans are just right for our big family, we appreciate that because we were able to cook a big meal for everybody. This place is very convenient to HEB where you can get all your supplies and stock up and forget the city life for a little bit. Love it! Looking forward to a future reservation again. Thank you..

Beautiful Cabin

It was a beautiful and spacious cabin. Great location, just down the street from great restaurants and cute shops. We took my father-in-law for his 85th birthday and he loved just hanging out in the cabin. He said this trip was the best birthday present he ever had.

Girls Weekend

We stayed here for an extended girls weekend. The location is beautiful, quiet and very peaceful. The house is very nice and well laid out for a large group, even though there were only 3 of us. I would say that if you have a large group, the jack-and-jill bathroom could be an issue sharing it with more than 2 people just due to it's very small size. We had a few hiccups (we found wet towels and sheets in the dryer; no dishtowels; no napkins; a dirty kitchen floor: very dim lighting and missing or broken lightbulbs) but honestly, despite all of that (!) we enjoyed our time there very much.

Very enjoyable

We enjoyed the daily visits from the deer, the clean property, the cute vintage gaming system that enticed the teenagers and the multiple family areas to hang out together. Thank you for everything! My son was very excited about the record player, as he had never seen one before. I think that the needle may need to be replaced as we could not get it to work . Otherwise very pleased and is great for family time
