Overall a great stay. Beautiful home, cozy and clean. We were bummed there was no corkscrew, but they said they’d be sure to stock one for the next guest. Easy to access & great communication.

This was the cutest little farm house. We loved getting to see all the animals and the property is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch and in the beautiful kitchen. The pool and hot tub were great amenities to enjoy as well. The beds were incredibly comfortable as well. Perfect girls weekend getaway. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in the Farmhouse. Although we arrived at dusk, we still had a visit from a friendly cat who looked like he was wondering who was staying in his house, Finn the coonhound and a chunky mini donkey. The next day we saw the goats amble by as well as the mini horses. Plenty of privacy but you get to enjoy someone else’s working farm/ranch. Before we left we walked the 5-10 minutes up to the barn area and wished we’d done it sooner. Lots and lots of beautiful horses are kept there. Most are waiting for pets and scratches. Beautiful, very well kept horses. The house has everything you need. It’s super neat and tidy and very well cleaned throughout. The hvac system keeps up with Texas heat and 36 degree days without a problem. Location wise it’s about 15m to both Dripping Springs and Wimberley. Loved our stay, had a great visit!

We loved the animals! Dan the cat made us feel at home. The pool was chilly but we were there at the end of October so we were just glad it was still open! The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking.

We loved our time at the little farmhouse! We took our 7 month old son, who loves being outdoors, and he just loved the animals that we got to see. The donkey, mini horses and goats that came around the cabin were just so friendly. It was so peaceful. I do wish that the pool wasn’t listed as “private” as it is at the owners house. We stopped to look at it but did not use it as we didn’t feel comfortable. There is a private hot tub and that was very nice. Overall a great stay!

We had business in town so the location near Wimberley was perfect for us. The house was super cute, very clean, quiet, comfortable, and private, and the Wifi was reliable. The animals wandering around the house added to the charm. The only thing that was disconcerting were the long list of rules and notes around the house of what not to do and associated fines. We were very careful and respectful of the property, but it made us worried that we'd do something wrong and be fined.

Amazing Ramantic Get Away

The restored 1900s house was charming with all the modern conveniences. The hot tub at night was breathtaking looking up at all the stars. The animals free range just outside and are so friendly. And long walks are superb.

Peaceful visit to a beautiful farm house

100 year old farmhouse, beautifully finished with a wonderful claw foot tub, hot tub and top notch bedding and mattresses. If you are an animal lover this is the place for you as several animals wander freely around the property. There is a great swimming pool, which was perfect as it was pretty warm during our stay. The pool is open for all staying on the property. We were the only ones staying during our visit, so we had the pool all to ourselves. Several vineyards are within 15 miles, and the town square of Wimbly offes quaint restaurants, and local shops to enjoy. We will be back!

Tucked away little piece of heaven!

This is the most perfect place you could go if you need peace, quiet, and nature! Yet only be 10 minutes from downtown Wimberley for food or shopping. Me and my best friend are moms, to 3 children each, and we desperately needed some time for us for the first time in 5+ years! We immediately fell in love with all Serendipity Farmhouse had to offer. I was a little weary about being on someone’s property at first, but that feeling was quickly gone once we arrived. There was more than enough space between the main house and the farmhouse and we didn’t hardly see anyone the entire time we were there. Even if we had it felt so cozy and calm it wouldn’t have bothered me one bit. The amount of animals and ability to interact with them fed our soul! We also both wanted to leave with Finn, their coon hound! Ha! He was so gorgeous and so friendly! The farmhouse itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s updated but they kept the original charm and likeness. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed! The hot tub was nice, we didn’t get to enjoy it too much because it stormed the first night and the second day wad crazy windy. But it was a wonderful touch! I absolutely would stay here again in a heart beat. It was just the rest and connection with nature and animals that we needed. We both want to bring our children back! Thank you for opening your wonderful farm so people like us can have this dreamy little vacation from the busy of life!

Great visit

We had a great time. We loved getting visits from the goats and the cat. The cat hung out with us most nights on the front porch. We felt close enough to everything but far enough away to enjoy the silence. We hope to come back someday.

Grandmother Granddaughter Retreat

My 16-year old granddaughter and I spent a wonderful long weekend here, and it was perfect. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom making it both easy and private. We swam, we met the animals, we walked and we went into town. We loved the lounges in the living room. Perfect place for us to do some catching up!

Great stay near Wimberley

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. A very easy drive into Wimberley. Our twin 7 year old daughters loved the pool and getting to see the horses and goats on the property every day. We had a an issue one day with the wifi going out. The property management company was able to coordinate with the owners to quickly fix the issue. Great communication.

Loved the Serendipity Farmhouse. It was clean, cute and cozy. Loved the decor, the animals on the farm and the horse that greeted us upon arrival. Bring some carrots and apples and you'll have them around as often as you'd like.

What an amazing property for the price! A beautiful 1900s farmhouse with all the amenities! Sunsets were gorgeous and we had so much fun with the farm animals! The owners were attentive to our needs and we are phone text/call away if anything was needed. A+ for the stay! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful

We had the most wonderful time here. The house is so precious and the property is gorgeous. We woke up each morning and had a lovely walk to visit with the horses. We are already talking about staying again! The fire pit and hot tub were the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend!

Cozy Farm Perfection

Our experience at Serendipity Farmhouse fulfilled every hope and surpassed expectations! The house itself is just incredible. Beautiful, so charming in all the thoughtful details and yet clean, organized and functional. Each space invited us to sit and be together. As wonderful as the house is, the animals are the most amazing feature of the property! The owners could not be more generous to share their farm. My daughter and I jumped out of bed in the mornings to go and share apples with the gorgeous horses. They all eagerly came to visit with us, and the two foals were too precious to describe! The farm dogs were so endearing, and we all are still missing one of them in particular. This is such a rare opportunity for us city folk, and we could not have had a better time. Thank you Serendipity Farm!

Perfect weekend getaway

The Serendipity Farmhouse was amazing. Starting your day off having your morning coffee on the front porch with the goats, trying the local wineyards, to a nice dinner in Wimberley, and finally finishing your day in the hot tub under the stars. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect couples getaway. The farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is comfortable and beautiful. This is definitely the first of many visits.

Gorgeous cosy property

We loved our stay at the farmhouse, beautiful decoration, very clean indoor stay, and very well supplied. We loved being around the farm animals, they looked happy and free, it was a fantastic experience for our daughter, far from the noise of the city. Gorgeous horses. The pool is ok, it is part of the ranch house but nobody bothered us. Overall it was a fantastic experience. There is room for improvement in the outdoor area of the house, the porche furniture was pretty dirty and full of cat hair, so we could not use it -nothing in line with the indoor area, that is was perfectly clean and tidy.
