« It was a nice camp cabin sleep up to 4 people. No running water. But had electricity refrigerator and mic and coffee pot. They furnished towels for shower in camp site. I didn’t understand when I booked it all of this from what I was reading. »

« The cabin was real nice and clean. Everything in it worked well the grounds were nice and clean. It was real quiet the only noise were the crickets outside. The owners were very helpful as far as where to go and things to do in the area. We will be going back and staying at these little cabins every time we go. »

« We had the best time for a two night, three day visit at the cabin. It was a wonderful time for three high school classmates. We loved the accommodations, the views and how clean everything was. We talked, we laughed and we even shared a few tears. Thank you for our first outing and we hope to do it again. »

« This cabin was just as listed. We had everything we needed. The ponds were great, my kids loved to be able to fish. We had a great time. The owners were great and very responsive. There was a pretty bad storm that came through and they were quick to get the trees moved from the driveway so we could get out. I would definitely recommend. »

« Wish we had a way to control the weather. The week had thunderstorms and tornado threats most of the week. That caused lake levels to be 2 to 3 ft higher than normal, a very unusual occurrence, according to locals. The house was very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little bit of a child hazard, but there was a gate at the top of the stairs (2 yr old figured out how to unlock within the first hour in the house and still no mishaps.) The walkway down to the dock is extremely steep and...

« We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back. »

« We travel for work and book a lot of VBROs. This property will be a repeat for future family trips. Anything you can imagine… the amenities were endless. Hot tub was hot, fire pit was ready to start, s’mores station was stocked and there were more than enough towels and dishes to take care of us and our adult children. It might seem like a lot of minor things but they did add up to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. »

« Property was just as listed. Near the lake, lots of campers and RV's as well as lake homes nearby. My guess is it's a hoppin place during the summer season with many friendly folks around. House had everything we needed to be comfortable and allowed us to stay within an hour drive of seeing the eclipse. Lots of good places to eat close by too. Would stay again. »

« Raccoon Retreat was the perfect place to host our yearly Memorial Day weekend trip. The house is located close to the marina for launching our boat and the bar and grill was within walking distance. The house came stocked with anything you'd need for comfort. We had a party of 12 and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Will definitely be back! »

« We came to Tennessee so my husband could go hunting and me and the children could relax and hang out. This cabin was perfect, we could walk to the lake, the kids loved being outside and playing, it was well kept and updated. I would highly recommend them and stay there again. »

« Very nice and clean cottage! Located on a very quiet lane and close to the Kenlake resort park and Turkey Bay OHV area. Will definitely stay again when in the area! »

« We appreciated the cleanliness for a pet-friendly cabin. There were no odors or any evidence of pets. We appreciated the thoughtful ammenities (coffee, water in fridge,etc) and the well-cared for kitchenware. Our trip was cut short by storms and power was out, but with windows open, it was cool and comfy inside. Would stay again! »
