My husband and I, along with our daughter and grandson, recently spent some time at Candlewood Lake in Jeff’s house. From the start, James provided excellent communication and was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The house itself was very clean, spacious, and was laid out with multiple “sections” that would allow everyone to spread out and relax comfortably, if desired.The beds were very comfortable, the showers were excellent, and we especially appreciated the well-equipped, modern kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Private Home With a Lake View

Perfect, peaceful place for a stop before continuing our journey North. Each check in and check out, with everything needed in the home. The kids loved the foosball table and swing set. Thanks for a clean place to stay and a good night’s sleep.

Great house by the lake

The house was just as described in the listing. All the photos were accurate. I was impressed by the kitchen. It had everything you could need for cooking and the appliances were modern. Good sized house and easy to move around in. I would definitely stay again.

Outstanding in Every Way

The house is wonderfully appointed, warm and welcoming. It also offers wonderful outdoor spaces and a beautiful view of Candlewood Lake. Lastly, our hosts were VERY responsive to our requests and made sure that we had a memorable stay.

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and spacious. We loved drinking coffee in the morning with a fire in the fireplace. My daughter had a blast outside on the swing set. The kitchen was literally a dream. Jeff was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We are originally from New Fairfield and it was so great to find such a perfect property for our family that we plan to return to for our next visit!!
