The Toussaint house is centrally located in the Midcity neighborhood of New Orleans. A culturally rich, colorful and diverse community. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Popular eatery serving up generous plates of classic breakfast & lunch eats in a homey atmosphere or stop quick and get a iced latte at Coffee science, just a 2 minute walk off the porch. Close to City Park to exercise or visit the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, with its antique wooden carousel, and the New Orleans Museum of Art, home to an eclectic global collection and a sculpture garden. Eat dinner at 1 of 3 locally owned delicious restaurants Neyow’s Creole cafe, Soule Cafe and Fharmacy. There’s also a Wholefoods markets .5 mi away. Ready to party, head downtown on canal st. and enjoy beignets and catch lots of beads on Bourbon st. Or if you’re lucky enough to visit on Fat Tuesday during Mardi Gras, grab a drink and walk 10 blocks to the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Tall windows bathe the interior in natural light, showing off exposed brick accents and the classic lines of a restored shotgun layout. The living room is an easy place to settle in - sink into comfortable seating, pull up your favorite show on the HDTV with Hulu, HBO Max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, or simply let the afternoon stretch out at its own pace. Ceiling fans keep the air moving, and the single-level layout makes moving through the home effortless for guests of all ages.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, each outfitted with plush beds, crisp linens, and room-darkening shades for deep, uninterrupted sleep. Clothing storage, extra pillows, and blankets are on hand, and in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack light and stay fresh throughout your trip.
 
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is set up for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper home-cooked dinner. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and hot water kettle, along with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. A coffee maker and coffee are provided - so your mornings can start exactly the way they should in New Orleans.
 
Bathroom
Two full bathrooms serve the group comfortably, each stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer. A bathtub offers a welcome place to unwind after a full day of exploring.
 
Outdoor living
The covered deck is where the evenings come alive - pull up a seat, set up a game of cornhole, and let the mild New Orleans air do the rest. It's a relaxed, private spot to decompress between adventures.

Traveling with children is well catered for, with a pack 'n play/travel crib, high chair, and babysitter recommendations available. The single-level layout and self check-in via smart lock make arrivals and daily routines smooth for the whole group.

The French Quarter is 1.2 miles away, and the neighborhood puts you in easy reach of Mardi Gras Endymion festivities, Sugar Bowl events, and New Orleans' seasonal festivals. Free street parking is available for guests arriving by car.
