Over the past 15 years, I've stayed in many short-term rentals in New Orleans. I'd rate this property among the top places I've rented based on location, responsiveness/friendliness of the host and individuality. The front deck (one floor above street level, looking out on lively Magazine Street) was a true lagniappe (NOLA-speak for "a little something unexpected and special"). Brandi's decor reflects the spirit of the city. During our stay, twice we needed to ask for additional supplies, and she was very accommodating. We also needed to extend our stay by two days, and she happily worked with us on that. One caveat is that there is only one bathroom, so if you're traveling with more than 2 people, that might be a limitation. Also, there is no stove (just a microwave). But the kitchen is nicely appointed and we loved the Keurig coffee machine! For us (my sister and me), the joys of Magazine Street included the vintage clothing and thrift shops, the large Whole Foods with ample free parking and Shaya Restaurant. This was a wonderful place to stay. Thanks, Brandi!
