Hi Michael, thank you for the wonderful compliments about our staff during your stay with us ! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We apologize as we have never had that complaint and we are diligently looking into it. We did host a big crawfish boil for the local high school directly across the street from us just prior to your arrival. We believe this could be the culprit. Again, our apologies and hope you will visit us again.

Our many reviews support our great location being only 4 blocks from st Charles & the streetcar line, as well as our wonderful staff. If you had any customer services issues, please shoot us an email about it to our company email address so that we may address it. However, from our interactions in our messaging services during your stay there was nothing mentioned for us to address in that regards. We do not advertise having a full on site restaurant or safety deposit boxes in rooms. This information is clearly found in the amenity sections. Please let us know via email if we can be of further assistance or if you need anything else

Nice uptown option
Location is prime for this place - there is a lack of hotels uptown and this is perfect. It's clearly new and modern, recently renovated. BRING EARPLUGS. There is minimal soundproofing between rooms and you will hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. If you can, ask to stay in the 2nd or 3rd floor and that might help the noise. The coffee shop/ bar is nice and a perfect place to hang out for a while.

Nice stay at the Marsh hotel
I stayed at the Marsh hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was nice and it was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was an easy 4 block walk to the streetcar. Of the highlights of New Orleans, this hotel is closest to the Garden district. It's in a quiet area. The only issues I experienced were hearing the people on one side of me off and on and having temperature issues in the shower, although the water pressure was great. I had less issues when I took a shower in the evening. I would stay there again.

Check in was a little difficult due to a severe storm. They were very responsive to that. The facility is new. The room was a bit small and I stubbed my toes on the bed frame several times. It was nice having the coffee and regular bar on site. The staff was great.

It was a very nice place newly renovated and clean but it takes a while for the water to get warm and there is one night that the ceiling was leaking and the receptionist was very prompt on fixing it the same day. All in all I would recommend it and I’m going to stay again at the same hotel when I’m visiting at New Orleans. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly

Gorgeous Hotel
Only one problem we didn’t have hot water the next morning. Otherwise the hotel is BEAUTIFUL. I enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be back.

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback about your stay with us, just a heads up for when you do come back for hot water: Run the faucet and the shower on hot for about 5 minutes and then you'll have hot water in your room ! We have an on demand hot water system that sometimes needs the extra pressure from the faucet to reach rooms !

The hotel is very charming and I love the location and look and feel. The coffee bar was great in the mornings. Also love the outdoor area. The room was nice but a few suggestions that would make it better. 1. Tissue in addition to toilet paper. Also an extra roll of toilet paper…. My room had less than half a roll on it when I arrived with no extra rolls….Plus no tissue.. 2. Peep hole in the door. 3. Full length mirror.

Nice Hotel Loved the Staff!!
This hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable. The only issue i had was the shower and getting hot water. I believe they advised it was on demand. But running the water so long waiting for it to heat up seemed like a big waste of water. When it got hot it was hot!

The hotel was clean and attractive. My only complaint was that it was self service like a vacation rental. No human to check you in or orient you. And our room was not cleaned during our two night stay. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that doesn’t clean your room

The hotel itself was looks really nice and modernized. However, there’s only one set of stairs in/out.The building isn’t leveled so we had to place our suitcase on the bathroom door to stop it from sliding open.There is also a gap at the bottom of the door so you can hear everything coming from the hallway. The hotel has one person doing several different jobs from making alcoholic drinks, coffee, checking guest in and taking care of any others problems that my arise so there’s quite a wait just to be helped. The gentleman who checked us in (afternoon) was very nice and friendly however, the lady who worked the bar area in the morning shift acted as if we were a bother to her.
