Es ist ein einfaches hotel.die zimmer sind etwas abgenutzt aber okay.ein grosses plus, es gibt kostenlose parkplätze. Die nächste subway ist 10-15 min fussweg entfernt. Der ort an dem das hotel liegt,ist überwiegend chinesisch geprägt.dementsprechend auch die geschäfte.alles in einem ist es ein günstiges hotel um new york und umgebung zu entdecken.

Gepflegt, freundlich und gute Lage
Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel mit zwei Wochen Abstand zwischen den Nächten. Der Empfang war jedes Mal sehr freundlich und es gab Tips, wo es am Abend nach der ersten Ankunft in der Nähe Restaurants gibt. Die Lage in Queens ist eher ruhig, auch wenn manchmal die Flugzeuge beim An- und Abflug auf La Guardia vorbeikommen - aber man ist in einer Weltstadt. Direkt vor der Tür ist eine Bushaltestelle (5 Minuten zur Endstation Subway 7 oder zu Fuß 15 min). Ebenfalls zu Fuß erreicht man zahllose Restaurants und hat gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und bis zum Nachtmarkt in Queens braucht man durch den park in Flusshing /Tennisstadien und Gelände der Weltausstellung ca. 40 min. Auf dem Hotelgelände gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze und es wird mit Hilfe von Parkausweisen wird darauf geachtet, dass nur Hotelgäste dort parken. An der Rezeption steht rund um die Uhr Kaffee, Tee und Wasser zur Verfügung. Das einzige Manko sind die doch eher kleinen Zimmer. Das Bad ist dafür wieder eher groß und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Ja, und die Betten sind etwas weich. Aber unter dem Strich ein Hotel, welches ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet und wir sicherlich wieder besuchen werden.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang nach einem langen Atlantikflug. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung - sauber, großes Bad, eher kleines Bett und recht ruhig. In der Umgebung diverse Essensmöglichkeiten. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür, aber man braucht doch ca.45 min. vom Flughafen La Guardia. Insgesamt - gerne wieder.

The staff isn’t very welcoming to start. The elevator had issues with the door closing and opening like four times. The room was not very clean. They clearly didn’t clean the floors or bathroom well. It was gross. The office chair had stains or tears. I would not recommend this place for the price.

They texted me at noon on the day of my stay and said they were overbooked and my stay had been cancelled. This is the text: “Hyy good afternoon , grandview hotel new york We want to tell you that you had a booking here for today but we are overbooked due to some technical issues so we dont have rooms so please cancel the reservation we will refund you your amount and we are very sorry for that please co operate with us . Thank you” I booked this room more than a month in advance for $117. There is nowhere that would have been less than twice that. I stayed on a loveseat in a studio with friends.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It took 4 hours to get some towels (because they didn’t clean the room), since they kept forgetting that I asked. The alarm went off on the safe when I tried to open it so I asked the front desk to turn it off. Again, they forgot that I asked and when they finally showed up, they could not fix it. They told me to wait and never came back, so I went to the front desk (since they never picked up the phone) and the same guy that told me to wait said “how can I help you?” Like he’d never seen me before. They never got it fixed and I had to put a pillow over the safe so I could sleep. There were many other things, but all in all, just a terrible experience. DO NOT stay at this hotel.

This is the first time in my life that I have such a bad experience. I booked a double bed. They provided me with a baby cot. Then told me that the website has a special price. But I paid the normal price. So I can't change the room even if I pay more. It's terrible! It's a hell trip

I requested a non-smoking room and yet the room smelled horribly. They spray the room but it did not help. There is no tissue, no cup, and no complimentary bottled water in the room. You may use your hand to get water from the faucet to drink. The only saving grace is availability of parking spot.

I will begin by saying I am easy to please and therefore typically give good ratings. However, My experience with the front desk staff was not the best upon check in. I arrived an hour early and was told there were no rooms available then told if I paid $50 I could check in early. Although the sign says newly renovated, They must have either skipped the room I was in or did a poor job. It was quite noisy outside my 4th floor window which I do not faut the hotel with (it was due to construction plates that were placed in the road making it quite noisy each time a car passed over them) and the bus stop directly across the street didn't help. I stayed a couple of days and there was no room service. I did see the housekeeper but he was the only one I saw for the entire building. There was a large neon sign outside that advertised free breakfast. When I aksed about it the front desk person said they haven't started that yet. As for the room, it is an efficiency room. It wasn't dirty but it did not exactly look clean. there was a burn mark on the blanket that was easy to spot. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room so was able to overlook some but the price was right for the location.

The front desk staff was noisy and they smoked in the lobby when its a smoke free property. DONT TAKE ROOM 103 WHERE ITS NEAR THE FRONT DESK ITS NOISY BECAUSE THEY KEEP TALKING ON THEIR PHONE ALL NIGHT. NOT EVEN A GREETING WHEN CHECKING IN TERRIBLE !!

The staff is very bad attitude. We want to put our luggage into hotel. The guy said they don’t have space to put our two bags. We can put in front of door, if lost they won’t take any responsibility. And when we check in, the guy said they only have one bed room. Then I showed him we paid two beds room for the hotel. Then he has to give us two beds room. During the night, the staffs talked loudly and play music. They don’t care about their clients. And I am surprised why they have good reviews 8 out of 10 which is not true?!
