« We needed somewhere to break our journey back from Scotland and this was ideal for a family of four and not too far from the A1. We also chose it partly as it was dog friendly but a change of plan meant we didnât actually have our dogs with us after all. But the provisions for visiting dogs were a nice touch. Also a welcome pack of milk, juice and biscuits f(for us) was well received. »

« Really friendly and helpful hosts and the chalets are finished to a very high standard. Lovely and peaceful with a really comfy bed. Didnât find fault with anything during my stay and would definitely recommend to others and stay again if Iâm in the area. 10/10 »

« It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites.
The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen.
